Too ugly to Stay!! Pictures are misleading! Some rooms were in a básement with no windows. The others in a second floor with very narrow hallways with views to the neighbor’s súper dirty and disorganized cellar. With all that we asked for a refund with some penalty, but the incompetent staff Was unable and unwilling to solve our problem.

The location is great, only one block away from the plaza. - The staff is great and the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. - They also include complete breakfast on the rate and offer space on parking area.

We only had one night here and wish we had longer. One of our most comfortable stays in Centrla America, room was clean and air conditioned and breakfast was lovely. They roast their own coffee on site and theres a pool on the roof! 10/10 would recommend

If your looking for a budget stay, here ya go. My wife and I came down for 4 days for our anniversary, and we relatively comfortable, but had complaints. The bed was like laying on top of a giant jello, the pool was not usable, poor tv reception, no private parking. Got locked out and almost couldn't get back in at around 10pm one evening.

Stayed here for a couple nights in a room with AC. The 1st night I was in a room with 2 beds, hardly any room to walk around. I was told when I checked in that I would have to switch rooms the next day, kind of annoying since I booked online for 2 nights. So the next morning I had breakfast (eggs, beans, coffee, platano and tortilla) and then packed up my suitcase and left them in the room and went off to the ruins. The hotel told me that they would love my bags for me later when my new room was ready. I left the hotel at 8:30am, returned at 11am and my room was ready, it was the room next to it. Since I was solo, this room only had 1 twin bed. I had my own bathroom, AC worked well and the WiFi was decent but the room is very basic. And both rooms had this sweaty/musty smell, turning on the AC helped the smell but it was still faint. The location is central but there is also street noise. The roads are hilly and you can hear the cars and tuk tuks working hard uphill. Paid $27/night which was cheap but I’ve had better in other countries (Mexico and El Salvador) for the same price.

This place is very quaint and is located in a central location with a nice mountain view from their on site cafe. The room and bathroom was very clean but is modestly furnished. The staff was very friendly and readily available to service our needs; they even made us breakfast when breakfast was not being served! Also, I'd like to add that the establishment does not take card payments and deals only with cash. Luckily there are plenty of ATMs nearby. I would definitely recommend staying here as long as you are confortable without air conditioning.

On my recent trip to Copan, I stayed at this hotel everything was great, one block near from the central park, breakfast was pleasantly, the coffee was good it taste like chocolate, every evening drinking the delighting coffee and the bread made in the town so good 😋🤤👍. the most important thing “the room was very clean and reasonable price. beautiful view from the rooftop. In Plus the Staff were so kind and helpful, I’m pretty thankful with the young man that helped me a lot with the tours and transportation on my way to guatemala to take my flight. I would definitely stay here again. Perfect to my budget. It was a pleasure and beautiful city!

I stayed at La Posada del Belssy for the duration of my second trip to Copan Ruinas. After my stay there I can truly say it was one of my favorite places to stay at when visiting copan. Lester (the manager) was more than helpful in accommodating my friends and I. Excellent food every morning, clean rooms when we returned to the hotel after exploring the town, and as always great times hanging out and talking on the roof beside the pool! I always enjoy the poolside sunsets at the end of the day! I visit copan frequently and from now on will continue to book my stays here at this Hotel! Highly recommend a visit here!!
