Wonderful family that were so caring and patient. Clean and homely rooms full of nice touches and yummy traditional breakfasts each morning. Couldn't recommend for highly. Good location just up the hill from the main plaza and in walking distance of the bird sanctuary although there are cheap regulated tuk tuks everywhere. Enjoy!

My family and I have stayed in many locations around the world. We have enjoyed the best hospitality from Elena and her family here, than any where else ever. We consider them our family and will forever keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Great value, great food, superb view along with atmosphere can not be replaced or arrived at...

My sister and I visited Copan and stayed at Casa Dona Elena for four nights. I had previously stayed there for three nights in June with a friend. We had a warm welcome and spotless amenities. Breakfast was prepared fresh each morning and they accommodated our dietary needs (I'm dairy free, sister is vegetarian). We needed an early check out...

This hotel is the biggest bargain I have ever gotten at a hotel. I was traveling alone and was able to get a room, picked up at the bus stop, have breakfast, and get set up with a tour guide for $20. The tour guide was extra but they arranged it all via email. The hotel is several blocks from...

Charming B&B run by the equally charming Dona Elena. Very good value for money too, with a roof terrace overlooking the valley! Rooms and rest of the hotel is very clean, the meals are simple but tasty, and the access to town is easy on foot too. It is even possible to walk to the ruins without too much effort.

This is a great place to stay in Copan. The rooms are very big and clean and the views beautiful. Each morning they serve a different Honduran breakfast cooked to order. The family are all very nice and the grandson is exceptionally helpful and speak great English.

Located about 10 minutes from the town centre going down, but nearer 15 coming back up the cobbled road(!), the B & B is a decent choice if you wish an alternative to hotel-style accommodation, and personal service from a friendly family. A welcome drink on arrival from Dona Elena set the tone and a different Honduran breakfast was served...

I stayed 3 days while visiting the ruins / resting from travel. Wonderful place to stay - this amazing family provides a quiet, safe, home-like environment in Copan. Great breakfast and super clean rooms with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains / valley. Will definitely stay here again the next time I pass through Honduras. This would also be...

I stayed here on a recent trip through Central America. I was hesitant at first to stay here since its a bit out of the center of town. There was no reason to worry. I ended up checking in late due to a delayed bus and they were there to greet me with lemonade and help me get settled into...

Very clean, very comfortable and a very friendly family. We ended up staying 5 nights. A bit of an uphill walk out of town (or take the tuk tuk) but well worth the effort. We are on a budget and not the cheapest place in town but excellent value and would definitely stay again. Breakfast is included and the best...
