This hotel is cozy but spacious, has a beautiful garden and pool. The rooms are well kept up and cheerful, and include your own kitchen and dining area. You cal also eat some good food in the restaurant/bar that is part of the hotel.

My (4) friends and I just got back from La Ceiba and Rainbow Village is amazing! Barbara is a fantastic owner and an even better cook. If you are traveling to or through La Ceiba this hotel is worth every Limpira.

We will be arriving from Copan on the Hedman Alas bus around 6-7 PM. Can we get off the bus near Rainbow Village or must we ride into the city and then catch a taxi back to Rainbow Village? We will not be travelling until February so have not made reservations yet. We plan to go on to the Lodge at Pico Bonito the next day.

We also rode on Hedman Alas and got there around 7pm. The bus won't stop near Rainbow Village. The bus will go to its Hedman Alas station and you will need a cab (taxi) to get to Rainbow Village. The taxis will try to overcharge you because they can smell tourists. I recommend that if you decide to stay at this Hotel you contact the owner (Barbara) and she can pick you up from Hedman Alas for a fee. She is reliable and you will feel taken care of. This Hotel is not like the ones in Copan and also not in the best part of town.
