I am staying at this hotel for two nights and for my surprise the hotel is completely renewed, the bedding is very comfortable, the air conditioner is quiet and the amenities are nice. The staff at front desk are very nice and helpful, they make you feel welcome. The hotel's location is very convenient you can find shopping centers, food... More

I booked this hotel based on the experience one of my engineers had there 3 years ago. The location was convenient for our purpose. The same engineer arrived 1 night before we (additional) 2 arrived. We checked-in. The rooms had a bad, dank smell and were very inconveniently laid-out. Almost impossible to move around. Then we met the other engineer,... More

My wife, my daughter, and I stayed at Hotel La Aurora from 12/26/2015 through 12/28/2015 and we certainly enjoyed our time. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and there was hot water. It is important to note that at times the water can get very hot.... More

It was my first trip to this La Ceiba, after reading the reviews of different hotels. It was apparent the room quality could be questionable at some of the hotel. The hotel liked most I drive by in La Ceiba lacked a street appeal, the inside was very ornate, there is a large fountain in the lobby, it was not... More

I am a frequent traveler in Honduras and I always struggle to find a good, or even okay, hotel in the center of the city of La Ceiba. I have passed the Aurora and always wanted to try it because it looks nice from the street. I didn't think I'd be able to afford it. However, when I arrived last... More

While I enjoyed my first two-night stay at La Aurora reasonably well, after trying to make a second reservation, I probably won't go back. I stayed in room 301, which is the only room with a terrace. There isn't much of a view since it faces a busy intersection on the main road into La Ceiba center, but is a... More

No Hot Water at night - They turn off the hot water at 10pm. They'll turn it back on if you ask, but it takes 1/2 hour to warm up, but it never got hot for us. Noisy - This hotel sits right on the highway so you will hear every truck, bus and honking taxi on the road.. Unclean... More
