Excellent downtown Hotel (no views) close to the Centro; newly renovated and clean; good hot water, Wi-Fi and cable TV (with a few English channels). Ask for the good linens upon arrival and you should have a peaceful nights stay here.
It's recently renovated, and has good facilities for its price(about 510 lps/single room you have hot water, drinking water, excellent WiFi, silent AC, and an attached mini bar), and the guard present at the gate. Although it still has the thin wall that could be found in a lot of hotels in this country. Ask for a cornered room if you really concerned about the noise. And this hotel is just 2 blocks from the central park, which also means that surrounding area becomes sketchy at night. Avoid hanging out after dark.
This a basic hotel in the heart of down town. It has hot water, AC and good wifi as well as TV with English channels. They have a small snack bar with ice cold beer as well as chips, candies and other travel necessities.
I visited La Ceiba, and we stayed at This Hotel, i must say the did a great job on the renovation of it, it looks completely different, the rooms are spacious, clean, great beds and a lot of pillows for each bed, its walking distance to to town, friendly staff and good service.
First time staying in the renovated Hotel Itaila. It has had a nice facelift but still retains its friendly feeling. The new rooms are well equipped and very clean. Nice beds and very quiet rooms. Well located. We will definitely return!
