We've stayed in several places in San Pedro and were going to stay across the street at Copantl for $130/night until I saw their reviews.

We missed our flight out of San Pedro Sula and had read about Guacamaya B&B, so we called them from the airport and they saved a room for us! It is a very nice place and the owner, Roberto, and his son, Tevia, are terrific....More
Great hotel. The staff was very friendly. I would say the rooms are better than the hotel just accross the street, cheaper and better staff. Good breakfast, good AC, the newer rooms are nice but the older ones are very comfortable and clean!
Reception at night was friendly after arriving San Pedro Sula. Hotel has a great location with shopping center and food business closeby. The price worth it to the service and the location at city and facilities has been renovated.

They are back off of a main road, hidden back a little bit. Their parking includes several spots directly in front of the lobby, which is completely windows. They have someone at the desk all day and night. Even though it is not enclosed, I would consider it safe. I live in Honduras and I would park my car here overnight.
