We could not have been happier with our stay at Hotel Guacamaya!!! This hotel is located in a perfect part of town, especially if you are only going to be there for a short time. Roberto gave us a full out comedy show on the way to the airport! Nancy was such a welcoming host! We were supposed to stay at this hotel at the beginning and end of our vacation. Our flight was cancelled and re-routed to another part of Honduras on the way in. They were very helpful and accommodating with our change of plans, and very happy to see us at the end of the vacation. We felt like we were coming home to the family we had yet to meet! You will not find a more friendly and comfortable place to stay in San Pedro Sula!

Although we were in San Pedro Sula for less than 24 hours, we (a group of 7 of us) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guacamaya Inn. Roberto is THE BEST!!!! He picked us up at the airport and delivered us straight to the Inn so we didn't have any worries about being in 'the murder capital of the world'. The next morning after a traditional Honduran breakfast, Roberto took us to the only two areas in town that were still open despite the Easter Holiday before taking us back to the airport for our flight to Utila. I would highly recommend Guacamaya Inn.

I only stayed for one night en route, but the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The hotel is small, colourful and very clean. Breakfast is served in a lovely little courtyard. It would make a great base from which to explore the area.

I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly helpful service we received at the Guacamaya Inn. We were met from our plane late at night by smiling Roberto who spoke fluent charming English and really put us at our ease. The room was clean with enormous and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was freshly cooked with many choices of breads, meats, cheeses, fresh fruit and as much coffee as we could drink, all served in a shaded patio with the calls of birds all around us. Roberto then took us to our bus the next morning for a very reasonable fee. A perfect start to our trip to Honduras and thoroughly recommended!

Safe location, very big rooms and bathroom, clean and tidy, airport transfer is available for any hour. So you have all you need. We are happy to support this English spoken local family instead of the chain hotels. They take care of you individually. They are so open minded. Why not encouraging local entrepreneurs when they deserve that...

The 'place to be' when you want to stay in a safe, nice, clean and quiet B&B in a town like San Pedro Sula. This was the second time we visited this B&B and we surely will come back! The rooms are clean, breakfast rico and the people who work there are more than friendly! Thank you all for everything!

This is a great B&B located in the downtown area. It is in a safe area of the city and near the Holiday Inn Express and Hotel Copantl. We were three professionals with Engineers Without Borders returning from a water supply project in San Carlos, near Olanchito. We stayed for one night (Feb. 19) before returning to the US. The owner provided transportation to the airport for $25. We stayed in the triple room which was very large and had two double beds and one king bed. The bathroom was very good. Everything was very clean. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. The breakfast was good; eggs, toast, beans, fried bananas, coffee, juice. We will use this B&B on subsequent trips. We also ate at the Hotel Copantl right across the

We really appreciated the help we had from the owner and staff at Guacamaya Inn B&B - we were picked up at the airport, and taken to the bus station the following morning. The Inn itself was spotlessly clean, cheerfully decorated and the staff were very very friendly, and very professional. Breakfast was great, with lots to eat - I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone staying in San Pedro Sula - many many thanks from Clare and Keven!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Guacamaya in San Pedro Sula. It is located in a safe neighborhood near a mall and other hotels. The staff were extremely helpful and had great customer service. They provided a nice breakfast for us even though we're needed to leave very early in the morning. They also provided transportation to the airport.

I can't say much of anything different than the previous review. This little B&B is just right as a place to stay in San Pedro Sula. We were there one night en route to Roatan and then stayed there again a week later on the return trip for one night. The owner, Roberto, and his wife are lovely. The little inn has about 8 rooms. The breakfast is certainly adequate, the rooms clean, with good ac, tv, flush toilets, hot water, good showers....just what you would expect. Plus it's in a good location and secure and safe. It's only about a 4 block walk to a large mall that is quite modern with LOTS of small places to eat in it--think, burger king, pizza hut, etc. There were also places that serve Honduran food. In addition, it's close to the bus terminal which services, I
