We booked a double room, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room which had a small sitting area with sofas and a television. Although the cleaning staff have always left the room clean and tidy, the hotel needs some maintenance. Our shower made loud, annoying and continuous noises. Regarding the restaurant and the restaurant staff, I cannot give a positive opinion. The breakfast included in the booking included a plate of fresh fruit that promptly arrived at our table, but it was not possible to eat it because it was sour, inedible. The waitress who took the breakfast order came back from the kitchen saying that the things we ordered were finished, we were forced to eat what was left available. This is certainly not the attention we expected when booking this hotel…
It must have been a nice hotel onenceupon a time. Room are very spacious but outdated. Clean over-all. Prices are reasonable for a capital city. We stayed here because of a bike event . The hotel its ok the staff are friendly the restaurant mediocre
The hotel is well maintained with normal wear and tear on furniture. The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Only 2 outlets in the room. No USB ports, a growing disadvantage. French toast is a good option for American guests. The location suggests an international hotel but English is surprisingly weak.
I ,Rajesh from India was a complete stranger when i landed in Tegucigalpa from India and booked myself in Florencia Plaza. The extremely good staff and the wonderful attention provided by the boss Mr Mario Nunez and his family eventually ended up me staying in the same hotel, same room for 6 months. Rooms are big, spacious, all amenities provided, housekeeping cordial and prompt, awesome restaurant and has the best ,happening and most connected bar in Tegucigalpa ,The Jaimes Bar. I ended up making so many friends during my stay at Florencia. It was a home away from home. Also its important to know that one of the chef even took the trouble and effort to prepare indian food only for me as I was the only indian. So this says a lot about the efforts by the management to make their guests comfortable I will recommend this hotel and i am sure you will never regret .For me having travelled around the globe, probably it was my best experience not only in terms of facilities but the feeling of being a part of them and their culture and the way the management and staff accepted me Thank you Mario,Thank you everyone at Florencia Plaza…
Was there for a few nights, rooms are clean, staff is very polite and helpful. Lots of places to eat in a walk distance. No swimming pool or gym. But they have a good restaurant. Prices are fair. I really enjoyed my stay
Date: 2017/12/24 the Christmas eve That night, there were no many people living in the hotel. The parking lot was almost empty. I had a good time in the very beginning, however, something happened, and it scared me. Before the breakfast offer ended (10 AM), my husband went to the restaurant first, and I was taking a shower in order to catch the breakfast. When I was in the restroom, someone knocked the door. Since I was in the restroom, I heard that one man was talking. I thought he would leave if I did not say anything, but THE MAN USED THE CARD AND OPENED THE DOOR. HE IS NOT MY HUSBAND. I was so scared, so I ensured that the restroom was well locked and kept saying whatever. He said something that I barely heard, then luckily he left in a few seconds. I was frightened. When I walked along the aisle, the 4th floor was almost empty. I could see some room cleaning staffs were chatting in one room. I told the Receptionist that there was a man getting in before we checked out, and it seems that this was not the first time. The Receptionist mentioned a guy's name and said that oh he did that again. She will report it..... (THAT WAS ALL THEY RESPONDED) It seems that it was a normal thing... I was not able to find any reasons why a hotel staff could get in the room, which was not yet checked out. It totally destroyed my mood but thanks to God that nothing bad happened. I supposed to rate the hotel with 3-4 stars, but I am afraid that I could not forget this terrible experience.…
Lots of parking, food and bar options, large hallways and rooms, very comfy bed with nice sheets and pillows. Quality food and service in the restaurant with a huge menu. Breakfast buffet was included and it was pretty good. We were driving and found it easy to get to, and fairly central to where we needed to go the next day. The night we stayed here, there was a biker convention - so the live band was great to hear, but no problem when in our room. I'll stay here again, although my first preference is the Hyatt due to the huge breakfast buffet - one of the best anywhere.
The customer service could be better. I went to the bar, but the bartender wasn't helpful, I asked for a drink suggestion, but he said, "I don't know, what do you want"; reason why, it could be better.
I stayed at Florencia Plaza Hotel for 2 nights and the beds and not comfy at all, the swimming pool was really dirty (i guess thats why no one was ever around that area) but staff were really nice. A little pricy for what they offer.
It´s a big hotel with nice rooms. The price is OK. Don´t expect a 5 star hotel. The staff is good and breakfast is good. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Tip: Don´t choose a room facing the boulevard, the noise and light might be an issue if you are sensitive to noise.
