The good things about our stay here were: - The room was spacious, clean and looked very pretty. - The bathroom was very well stocked with towels and a bar of soap (as well as a bidet for those who appreciate a deep cleansing). - Wifi and AC worked perfectly. - The location was very convenient since there were bars...

My friend and I have turned up tonight to be advised they do not have details of our booking despite us having a booking reference and having paid a 10% deposit. Do not stay here go next door to the lovel and very helpful Real Colonial Hotel!

Due to a system error from the reservation page Hostelworld.com we did not receive any notice or confirmation via e-mail for this last minute, resevation. We were full on that night and already filed a complaint to this page due to the inconvenience caused to us and the guest who is evidently upset and wants to harm our image. However,...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights following a 10-day trip through Honduras (including Roatan). Cafe Cibreo is well-situated, safe, clean, and charming. It offers a delicious breakfast and really nice service. I wish we could find a B&B like this one on all our vacations around the world. Most importantly, it is very reasonably priced. We recommend...

Tegucigalpa can be an intimidating city for a woman traveling alone but from the moment I stepped into the charming cafe/lobby of hotel Cibreo I felt nothing but good vibes. For $50 a night I was delighted with my spacious, airy, light and ultra-clean room with ensuite bathroom. Every day there was plentiful hot water. Bed was comfortable and the...

I've been over most of Central America, and absolutely adore the countries, culture, and peoples (even Belize City, which is an acquired taste). I really, really didn't like Tegucigalpa at all - it has a very nasty vibe to it, not just a bad reputation. The journey in was particularly bad: late at night, non-working ATMs, violence after a football...

Stayed for a night, service really good, very clean, food amazing, good for business and just for vacation, there are a lot of places nearby, bars, restaurants, and more, very good place to stay, the people really nice, I asked for directions, and this guy made me a map, I totally recommend it, and the view at least from my...

I recently spend 5 nights at Cafe Cibreo while on a work trip to Honduras. I felt very safe and comfortable in this economically friendly hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast options. And the location is a great jumping-off point for heading downtown, to a healthy restaurant to suit all tastes (IE: vegetarian), or to almost any amenity that one...

I have stayed at many high-end hotels in Tegucigalpa (Marriott, InterContinental) but my top choice is Hospedaje Cafe Cibreo. It was formally called Leslie's Place, and now under new ownership is a really lovely gem in a nice part of the city. The hotel is in an old, historic property, with a lovely courtyard sitting area where a delicious breakfast...

The hotel has lovely quality clean rooms. The staff were very friendly and informative. However, the real plus point is the restaurant. This is a rare oasis of quality food in a city full of fast food places.

“There is no pool or fitness center at Cafe Cibreo but a couple of doors down is the more luxurious Hotel Maya and you can pay for a day pass to use their fitness center and pool. Their room prices, are quite a bit more.”
