This hotel was very accommodating. We had a few hiccups but they were addressed by the staff promptly. Rooms were clean, pool was nice, staff very pleasant. I spent a week here and a week at 2 other hotels in Athens. This was my favorite of the three.

I stayed here for 3 nights in late June as part of a work training course, the hotel was centrally located, we'll run and we were looked after to a high standard. The rooms were spacious, pay the extra for the executive block, meeting rooms spacious and the staff really helpful. Food and beverages during the day were really high... More

My home away from home! I've stayed at this hotel several times. I've never been disappointed. Rooms are well appointed and nicely sized! I'm often upgraded without asking! Very comfortable beds and just a relaxing place to stay. Walking distance to UGA and downtown Athens eats! Wonderful staff! I'll look forward to returning on my next trip to Athens.

We stayed there for NYE. They've upgraded since we were there last. The staff was very nice. It is a bit of a walk to the rooms if you're in the tower, but otherwise, it is good. The room was fresh and pretty quiet. If you go, ask for a middle room so you hear less of the elevator and... More

Disappointed. The room was cramped two double beds and not comfortable. The beds were lumpy and sheets scratchy. The air unit in the room is loud and when it comes on, the room turns icy uncomfortably cold. As soon as the air shut off it was warm again. The bathroom had no space to hang anything. It smells of mold... More

We visited Athens during college trip for our daughter. We were looking for a place to stay close to campus that was not overly expensive but still good. This Holiday Inn has a small outdoor pool that is cute and free of scunge. Rooms in tower one are medium sized, clean, and have the nice white linens that get switched... More

We stayed here one night on our way to Asheville. Perfect location. Right on the edge of campus and close to fantastic restaurants and bars. The room was clean and updated. The bed was a little soft and pillows were not comfortable. Great prices and plenty comfortable.

I guess I was lucky to be in the "main" building because I couldn't grasp the tower concept. They actually locked the door and you had to use your room key to get in (which I didn't know). I stayed in my room and watched TV until I fell asleep so I couldn't say much about the amenities on the... More
