I recently made a reservation; the room was disgusting! Serious Environmental health violations. Be careful if you stay here, there were random, males just lurking around, reminded me of a prison halfway house. The room is dated and had mold throughout the bathroom, tub was dirty with hairs inside, the shower curtain was wet, like someone had just taken a shower. I immediately checked out as soon as I examined the room. The owner should be ashamed of themselves, and need to be reported to the environmental health department of Augusta, GA. I can't believe the city would put so much into GOLF, BUT LITTLE INTO ENFORCING a clean environment. Shame on Augusta GA, for failing to keep their visitors free and safe from mold and mildew in hotel rooms by failing to conduct honest inspections.…
We had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of options from fruits to coffee to freshly made waffles. The staff is very warm and welcoming. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything about this hotel is great! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Augusta.
Mr. Terry made breakfast a lot better, making it clean and spotless for the next person. He was also super nice and fun to talk to and remembered me later. The next day when he wasn’t there, the breakfast stuff was a bit messy.
Granddaughter is at the Medical School of Georgia, central location. Not the most modern or fancy, but basically good overall. Just spent one night. Breakfast was much better than expected. Beds were comfortable
Mr Terry is a good dude. He keeps the wheels greased on this place and his breakfast setup is very nice. Hotel is dated and has minor issues but the staff make up for that. Price is decent also considering rates nowadays.
I truly enjoyed my stay at Comfort Suites. The breakfast was delicious and the breakfast attendant Mr. Terry was very friendly and helpful. I definitely will stay back at Comfort Suites next time I visit Augusta.
We stayed here August 12-17th. The hotel needs a facelift. Rooms are outdated. See pictures. Housekeeping is supposed to clean the room after 3rd night- or 4th- especially if you came down to tell them that morning before 11 am and they still don’t come . Maid didn’t change sheets- replaced towels- no coffee replaced- no disposable cups, didn’t vacuum crumbs from previous client still on the floor. The windows in the rooms on our floor were all plastic wrapped over so that the painters could repaint trim- took 4 days for them to come and do this. So no view out of window for first 4 days. Not sure why they couldn’t put plastic up the day before! Who wants to look at that out your window or lack of looking out your window. Holes in wall, mold in bathroom, stains on floor, stains on towels, a/c unit banged the whole time it ran which was all the time as it was 98f everyday. Saw a lady sticking her fingers in the crock pot to get her breakfast. Yuck! Breakfast was average. Not stocked after being open for 1/2 after service started. No coffee cups, sugar and creamer- everything in hot buffet is precooked, frozen and reheated- except for waffles- which are made on demand. Elevator light for fire department was on all the time. Pool needs some TLC and maintained. Bugs in pool. Bird do do on chairs and tables. Broken foot spray faucet. All in all not a great hotel in my opinion. Would not stay here again. Shame they charge the prices they do and for it to be #2 out of 100. Not sure who gave them this rating. My husband checked us out of our room as he didn’t want me to lose it on the management. This hotel was picked from my husband’s company for us to stay at and will be giving them feedback on the hotel and not recommend this hotel for future business trips.…
We booked this hotel for a two night stay based on reviews. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find every single window covered with plastic and tape in preparation for exterior painting. This should have been indicated on the hotel website and our travel portal (Capital One) and was not. At a minimum, the rate should have a discount for these conditions. Travelers to this area are well-served by finding other accommodations. In addition to this, I am quite surprised by the reviews. This hotel is old and shows it’s age. The tv has a poor picture, the brown carpet and drapes are unappealing, and the bathroom is in poor condition.
we move our military families base to base and we had a shipment to drop in augusta, ga. we saw on the app that this hotel was across from a truck stop so we knew that we shouldn't have an issue parking (it is a 75 foot tractor-trailer), although i was advised in the phone that they had available truck parking. (the did not) let's start with the girl at the front desk. no name tag, so i can't identify her. i was checking in and she said that we had to have some kind of voice something and gave me a number to call which was to bank of america. 1st off, that is not my bank. so she finally got us a room. we always request 1st floor but she gave us 2nd floor and at that point, i was like whatever. we get to the room. the tv remote doesn't work. i call the front desk and she says the cable box has to be on. i said that it is and she said try the tv button (i am not ignorant, and had previously tried that). i went downstairs with the remote a d she saidnshe had bo batteries, so she would come up with us. needless to say, she had to manually turn on the tv. the remote would switch channels, but not turn on and turn off. the shower dripped all night long. i tried to use the computer in the "business center ". that wouldn't work either. she came in the room and tried this, that and the other (i had previously tried). so i asked her if there was a printer.i could hook my phone to to print out some receipts and load sheets. she said no. we ordered some food and went to bed and then this morning, when we checked out, they couldn't even give me a receipt. very disappointing to say the least.…
The manager at the front desk was named Erica Dunn. She was managing at the location in Augusta, GA. She was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. She assisted us with the reservations and other details for our stay.
