I've stayed At the Augusta Marriot at the Convention Center a couple of times, chosen for location to something I needed to attend, safety (I was a female travelling alone), and location of restaurants. The beds are fantastic, comfy and large. The room was clean. Depending on whether you are at the hotel or suites end, you will need to...

A newly renovated hotel, right in the Augusta Riverwalk, fairly safe outside up until about 10pm, I was told. A huge pet peeve of mine is bottom sheets turned inside out, makes me wonder if clean sheets are put on the bed or simply turned over, and this was the case in this room. The cleanliness was definitely lacking. Upon...

In Augusta when it comes to the best hotel their is only one, Marriott Augusta. All rooms recently renovated, great views of Savanah River. As a business traveler their Concereige room offers everything from Smoked Salmon and eggs for Breakfast to a lite meal with separate desserts brought out in the evening. The staff is always very welcoming, nice and...

If you go to Augusta, you better think twice before you select hotel !!! I normally never write negative reviews, only when absolutely needed like in this case! Marriott Hotel in Augusta is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in during my last 20 years of traveling both for work and pleasure. The worst is the poor service level...

Marriott-- These complaint messages are the most painful to write, as it takes time and is caused by a lot of disappointment. For generations of loyal customers who seek the Marriott name for the safety, quality, and service, we are disgusted by the pride and arrogance of the management at Marriott Augusta Convention Center. While the staff remain friendly (not...

We love staying here! The front desk ladies were so warm and kind. I was also impressed how a lady training another supervisor treated her with respect and encouragement. The valet gentlemen and I believe, Marie, always treat us like we are family. The room in the main tower had a beautiful view of the river and was quiet. We...

With the name Marriott one expects a certain level of stay. The hotel is located near Broad St which is under gentrification. Lots of little quaint eating spots and shops are near. The lobby is beautiful and we were met with much Southern hospitality. Our reservation had some issues of which the staff took care of immediately. We were given...
