Not "Grand Hotel" but simply "Hotel Regina". Average hotel, decent enough for a few days. It is conveniently located, close to underground, Grande Poste, nice shopping area with restaurants and bookshops. The bathroom is destroyed and there is no shampoo, toilet paper not shower gel. The sleeping quality is the worst, pillows are very hard like a rock and the mattresses as well....

Great location, good food, free breakfast, room service until 11PM. No staff working on Fridays (Muslim Holy Day) example the restaurant or housekeeping. Staff was extremely friendly, most all were fluent in English. The Regina is an older building , however, it was very clean and generous with linens and towels. Working elevator (5 floors) a/c, balcony with sea views....

This is simple hotel provides basic conditions. Localization is very good because it is few steps from Grand Post, where you can get by underground. You can choose room with sea view. It crowded district of Algiers with traffic jams, so sometimes there is some noise in room from street.
