Stayed here for 3 nights in total in different 4th and 5th floor rooms. The hotel is large and in need of a refurbishment . Overall it wasn't too bad. Rooms were spacious, pretty clean, lots of hot water though the poor water pressure made showering in the 1st room tricky. The rooms vary in what works eg my 1st...

For the price you pay you get away less than you expect except for the location and proximity to downtown. This hotel is an ancient building that requires modernization to keep up with the international standard for the price yoy pay.

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of a two week tour taken of Northeastern Algeria. As mentioned by other people is dated, but still has some charm. The renovated room on the fifth floor were very good. In contrast, the rooms on the second floor were run down and somewhat dirty and run down

I stayed there for three nights during May 2015, travelling for business. Staff are indifferent and show no intention to provide a quality service. Cleaners try to get into the room without knocking first-there are no "Do not disturb" signs on the doors. Bed was very uncomfortable with a very hard mattress. Bathroom and fixtures old. Carpets throughout the hotel...

Earplugs are essential if you want to have any chance of a decent sleep (mainly noise from traffic, but also from neighbours if you are unlucky). Cigarette smoke can also be a problem. Breakfast...

My husband and I used this hotel as a stop over before travelling to other areas. It is a clean and fairly well presented hotel. Reception were informative and there was good WiFi. Sadly as in Ramadan restaurant was not fully functioning, room service was offered as an alternative for breakfast. This was small and the coffee Luke warm.

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel. Staff friendly, rooms have hot water, but check bathroom to make sure shower not broken and toilet seat in place when you are assigned a room. TV only has Arabic and French language stations. Free bottle of water daily. Air conditioning in rooms. Standard breakfast of coffee/tea, croissants and bread, jam, yoghurt, hard boiled...
