Bed bugs in the dorm room I stayed in. On all of the beds. Worth paying a bit extra to not wake up to a bunch of these things crawling around you. Not sure if they are in other rooms, but I'm guessing it's likely. They clearly don't clean these beds very often. Stay here at your own risk.

In this day and age of modern day backpackers and travellers, we get used to a certain standard at hostels. Some of us expect the WiFi to work everywhere inside. Some of us expect hot showers. Some of us expect clean rooms. The list goes on and on. Youth hostel Casablanca does what it's supposed to - give you a...

It is easy acessible from the train and bussstation by just around 10-15 minutes walking. The hostel itself is locatet at a small place from where you have easy access to the medina. You can find some small shops and restaurants in the near surounding. The Hassan II Mosque is also by foot just around 20 minutes away, so the...

I showed up and asked to see the room. It was a dorm with 5 beds, one plug, no lockers. Is there a place I can secure my things? Shrug. Can I see another room? No. (They were mostly empty though). Basically take it or leave it. Not having planned another place to go, and with rain on the way,...

Easy walk from the bus station. No frills accommodation with two single beds in our room. Clean and comfortable. Great base for exploring the city. There is a large common area and information about tours/ local sights that you can review. Great place to meet other travellers

So the hostel is nothing special but it has a good location and the wifi works well. Also the staff was very nice when I was there even tho I read a couple reviews that said otherwise. I put only 3 stars because of the price...it was 80 dirhams($8) for the dormitory! Didnt use the shower when I was there...

Maybe I am just too old for an hostel that Lonely Planet reviews as "acceptable", but my experience at the Youth Hostel in Casablanca was terrible. The receptionist was rude, the room had no windows and it was right next to the kitchen (as many of the other rooms), with personnel talking loudly since 6 in the morning. The sheets...

People are saying its clean but it isn't. After a difficult night of trying to fall asleep, I stayed around the lobby waiting for my flight out of casablanca. Sitting round, I saw the cleaning ladies literally just fold the sheets back up without bothering to change pillow covers or the mattress covers. Sheets themselves were smelly and moist. Got...

It's a clean and quiet hostel part of the Hostelling International network. Located just inside the western entrance of the old Medina about ten minute walk from the Casa Port train station (from the CMN airport take the hourly train to Casa Port station about 30 minutes ride 65 MAD US$7). The place does not have a bar or restaurant...

“If you are a couple, you might want to book online as men and women are not allowed in the same dorm room. A double room is only 10dh more than two dorm debs, but the double rooms were all full when we arrived. If you are worried about the quality of the room, you can always go down the street (literally 25 meters) you will find the Central Hotel, which has much nicer rooms, for 400dh.”
