We arrived late for check-in timing, around 8pm. Was assigned a wonderfully beautiful room that my girl immediately said yes to. Riad Hala is a really neat place. The managers, Abdul and Mohammed, are REALLY nice and helpful. The first thing they told me was to feel like home and you should really feel that way. The place itselft is clean, neat and very comfy. Big rooms with traditional decorated. I wouldn`t want to stay any other place when i go... More

Riad Hala is in an amazing building, recently renovated from being a carpet and embroidery bazaar. Abdul, the manager, has worked as a guide throughout Morocco so was extremely helpful in know what to do and where to go, both in Fez and all around Morocco. He even called up other places and restaurants to make sure they gave us... More

Abdou made our stay exceptional. He was more of a friend than a host. Not only he gave us a lot of tips on where to find things but also took real care of us up till the moment we left. We were leaving very early and still made sure our breakfast was ready and even sent people to accompany... More

Great location near The Blue Gate, amongst the souk and many places to eat. Our room was spacious with comfortable bed, bedside tables, wardrobe with safe, and a small table with seating around it. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and a shower over the bath. The bathroom was quite small and could do with a makeover.... More

If you find yourself in Fes Morocco- you MUST absolutely stay at Riad Hala. 1) It is a beautiful old Dar, made into a Riad, over 200 years old, and they have done an incredible job of restoration. it is quite a treat with the old ceramics, mosaic work and beautiful inner courtyard! 2) it is in the Medina, which... First of all, i want to clarified something, the guest houses in Fez are traditional old fashion houses, that can be found in old medina. On the other side, Riad Hala , is located at the principal entrance of old medina, next to Blue Gate "Bab Boujloud". Furthermore you can see what i'm talking about in our site www.riadfeshala.com.
