Two friends and myself spent 10 days here and it was without a doubt one of the best places I have ever stayed. A delicious, traditional Moroccan breakfast every day followed by some morning sun on the roof terrace. The ideal location meant that as soon as we left the front door we were in the buzzing centre of the... More

We absolutely loved this place in Fes. The combination of the situation of the Dar (in the middle of the medina) and the way we were taken care of was wonderful. We stayed in the roof top room with amazing views over de medina. Dar Sienna has several terraces on which we had breakfast in the sun every morning. Breakfast... More

I stayed in Dar Sienna for 3 nights in February. Dar Sienna is located deep in the old part of the Medina, but luckily the guesthouse manager Ahmed was ready to greet me at the taxi drop-off to guide me there. Everything about Dar Sienna oozes charm, from the authenticity of the rooms to the (huge) breakfast served on the... More

I have to say this is probably the best decision I have made in the Morocco trip. Ahmed is a really nice guy who treat us more like friends than customers. And he did his job as a manager so well. I booked the room very late, just one hour before our arrival in Fes. I called Ahmed after we... More

Days before arriving, Sonhild has already sent us a very useful and detailed package of practical information about visiting Fez. We were picke up by Ahmed at one of the gates of the Medina, and the walk to Dar Sienna was like a dream, deeply stimulating with a profusion of sounds, smells, and sights. Breakfasts on the terrace were always... More

The helpful, hospitable staff, the very central location, the well-served and tasty breakfast, the gorgeous terrace and the shared kitchen available for a guests. And the beautiful atmosphere of the riad itself. The special help from Ahmed and the kindness of Saba made us feel at home. Thanks.

We had a lovely time at Dar Sienna. Arrival went smoothly. Good explanation of how to get around. Because of its location right next to main mosque, you can always find your way back. Nice roof terrace and even kitchen and laundry facilities. Ahmed and Sabah were very helpful.

Finally we arrived to Fez and we slept at Dar Sienna!! It was really nice to meet Ahmed, the manager. He is special and he really took care of us as customers and especially as human being even if it was a really short time!! We felt at home. And... the house is lovely... in the heart of the Medina... More

The house is located inside the Medina, in one of the most authentic streets. The staff is superb, especially Ahmed who made us feel like we were at our home and was always pending to the smallest detail. We were all family and rented the whole house. The house is beautiful with all the amenities needed. It is very clean... More

The pre-arrival communication with Sonhild was extremely smooth and most informative. We were made to feel welcome long before we arrived. Manager Ahmed met us at the railway station, haggled with taxi drivers and had us on our way to the Bab R’Cif in no time. Guided by Ahmed we entered on foot, though the gate and on into the... More
