We came really late, and escaped scums and husslers at very last time. When we finally find the way to hostel, the most magnificent girl open the door and welcomed us in this relax, easy going and cool place.

We arrived in the evening, room was booked beforehand. In real Funky Fes looked even brighter and better than shown on the photos! We booked room for 2, and I couldnt believe my eyes when lovely Khadija showed us the room - it was incredibly moroccan, beautiful, clean, well, no other words but perfect. It even had AC, and 3...

I really enjoyed staying here bc the atmosphere encourages travelers to become one big family. The hostel has a variety of activities for everyone to try. They also have a buy in dinner which I highly recommend bc the cook is amazing. I wish I could remember her name, she's sweet and always happy and vibrant. Also, handling the front...

Stayed at Funky Fes for three nights although we'd only planned for two, my friend became ill and we had to stay an extra night before moving on. We arrived at Funky Fes late having travelled from Marrakech on night train so entered the hostel at about 3AM. Understandably we were asked to be quiet and shown to our rooms...

Had a 3 nights accomodation in Fes at the Funky Fes Hostel. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the place and the helpfulness of the staff who made my stay in Fes a real enjoyment. Loved the Morroccan cooking course. It was my gateway to discover tastes and aromas of distant lands. Very helpful and patient teacher as well. Warmly...

I stayed here for more nights than i planned, mainly because of the great atmosphere, friendly staff and greats vibes from the other backpackers! Its a clean, modern and spacey hostel! A large rooftop pad and nice rooms! It was very close to the old Medina! would stay again for sure!

I stayed here for only 1 night before moving as it was not up to my standards. I am sure this was once a decent hostel but it's definitely dated now and could use some updating. I was in the 4 bed mixed dorm that was on the top floor, it felt like a prison cell. No light, the door...

This is a budget-friendly hostel that is located 5 minutes from the Medina. The common space is beautiful and spacious, and the rooms are perfect for big groups of 5 or more. There is hot water, a traditional hamam and internet (which is terribly unreliable but better than nothing). Breakfast is included and there are plenty of suggestions about what...

Funky Fes was a nice surprise in Morocco! The location is a bit tricky, i've arrived from Marrakech by train so i asked to be picked up at train station, otherwise i think i still was in Fes looking for the hostel! The staff was welcoming and helpful all the time. I've stayed in a clean dorm with private toilet....
