The rooms are beautiful, very comfortable and clean, as were the bathrooms. It was a lively and peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the medina. The staff were all very lovely and consistently went out of their way to be helpful whenever possible. They really went above and beyond to assist us with making the most of...

The Riad Layla is really pleasant with its decorations that are neither to heavy neither to poor. The bed is very comfortable and the nights are quite calm, the breakfast is good including both some "continetal" parts and some other local. The hammam in the riad, even if little, it is very nice and we have enjoyed it. Everything is...

Location (8 minutes walk from the Blue Door/Bab Boujloud: the main entrance of the Medina), friendly staff, awesome breakfast… The Riad is amazing: it looks like one of the main sights of Fez. It was really cleaned and was cleaned every day. Our most memorable time was having breakfast in the terrace with the great view. We just want to...

Small riad style house in the center of Fes. Conveniently located for parking your car and for visiting the old town on foot. Very well decorated with luxury features. Great roof terrace for breakfast in the morning sun. Kindest staff you could ever meet and very talented cook. Well worth the money. Stay here if you can.

Entering the hotel we were a bit sceptical at first because little could be seen from the entrance but the welcoming smile of Souky at the reception was the first indication that we were somewhere special. Entering the courtyard was like being transported into another century. Riad Layla is a beautiful small Hotel ideal for couples and small family group...

We stayed at Riad Layla from Oct 2 to 5 and were more than impressed. Riad Layla was the first place I've stayed that truly warranted a review (good or bad). From the moment you arrive you are treated like welcome family. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was good. Breakfast was delicious. Dinners were tasty and well...

Stayed Sept 6, 2014 through 10. A beautiful peaceful oasis located easy walking distance to the souk, parks and Fes Jdid. Dinner and breakfast on the terrace were wonderful. The staff went beyond making us feel like welcome guests and made us feel like part of the Layla family. Jordan and Janice

Great place; a peaceful oasy in the city. Route to the Riad is very well indicated along the street (very useful in morocco where it's easy to get lost at first), the room is huge, perfectly air-conditioned and furnished with every needs. Michael the owner, such as the entire staff, is cool and friendly. We had dinner up on the...

We stayed in the Mezzanine Room on August 4th-August 6th. The room was so beautiful, and the lobby is gorgeous. The hosts, Tayeb and Souky were so amazing, they spoke excellent English and were so helpful and friendly. This riad is beautiful, the decor is makes it feel like being in a fairy tale from Arabian Nights. They provided comfortable...

We stayed in this riad for two nights and our experience was very good. We were given the room on the top, just in the terrace, which is very large and has a bathroom to-die-for!! Breakfast was good, but nothing special, however, the view makes up for that. It was the last leg of our Moroccan holiday and we were...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Layla enthrals you with a decor and ambiance reminiscent of the Arabian Nights. Riad Layla enchants you! The traditional building is constructed in Moorish style and was renovated in 3 years with much effort and love for the smallest details, just so that you could rent a riad that epitomises elegance. The building offers the comfort and service of a luxury hotel combined with the dreamy ambiance of a riad. The design combines traditional Moroccan architecture and craftsmanship with modern comfort. At the centre of the riad is a patio with a fountain and its pool. Cedar wood, mosaic (zellig) and stucco are witnesses of the elegance of this former residence. The salon, the patio and the beautiful roof terraces with a breathtaking view of the entire Fez medina offer a place to read, sun-bathe and relax. Breakfast and dinner are served on the roof terrace during summer. Come and enjoy the atmosphere of Riad Layla for your Morocco holidays ... more   less
