Easily the most welcome we'd felt in Morocco, Naj and his wife were exceptional hosts giving us sound advice and making us feel very comfortable. The room felt grand and was a good bathroom too - with air con! Every day we were served a massive breakfast included in the price which made it feel like a bargain. Good location... More

Dar Kenza is a beautiful place to stay in busy Fes. Owner Najib and his wife were extremely accommodating and friendly, offering tips for sights and restaurants - Najib even personally walked us to a good quality henna stall when I asked for a recommendation. They provided a wonderful breakfast and made us feel very welcome. We had to leave... More

The room was lovely, with a great big bed and good aircon! The decor of the riad was very traditional, comfortable and in a good location close to the main features of the city. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night but would certainly recommend.

I would highly recommend staying here. The owner, Najib met us where we were getting dropped off a few minutes away from the hostel. He made sure we were content with our room, offered us tea, and then took us himself to see the old city gate since he knew we wouldn't have much time (we were only in Fez... More

Having travelled round Morocco, it was wonderful to turn up at a place which was so calm and helpful. They took great pains to provide us with really useful information and advice which made Fes so much more accessible and led us to some places that we would never have found by ourselves. The Dar itself was calm, clean and... More

We are three girls from the Netherlands travelling around Morocco for a week. We arrived in Fez around 9pm and were overwhelmed and exhausted from all the travelling. On arrival we were very thankful and grateful for this beautiful, welcoming and caring accommodation. Dar Kenza made made us feel safe and at home. After speaking to the owners, Najib personally... I stumbled upon DAR KENZA by accident with my boyfriend, while we were looking for accommodation in Fes. DAR KENZA is a magical place, amazingly designed with traditional Moroccan craft and art. It has an amazing roof top with breathtaking view above Fes's old city. The owner Najib is an extraordinary man, very helpful, polite and interesting. We stayed in... More

we were a bit suspicious of all the great reviews and photos for the price but it genuinely is the nicest place we have stayed in a month in Morocco. Very well decorated, friendly and informative staff, good location. It's a bit tricky to find initially as its down an alley (like most things here it seems) and the fact... More

We were three friends (2 girls, 1 guy) traveling in Morocco for a short time and found this gem online. We were so glad we stayed here--then owners were splendid and very accommodating, the facilities were clean and beautiful, and the location was really convenient and quiet. We were served a simple breakfast in the mornings and walked less than... More
