Riad Idrissy is a restored 400 year old mansion in the heart of Fez medina, it is perfectly located for days wandering the medieval streets as well as bespoke excursions into the surrounding countryside. There is a large garden at the riad where both traditional and 'Modern Moroccan' dishes are served. The garden is a rather grand ruined house filled with fruit trees, roses, jasmin & a spice garden. Whole house rental is also available.

The attentiveness of the staff and the excellent food at their Ruined Garden restaurant sets Riad Idrissy apart from everywhere else we stayed in Morocco. Despite the slow tourist traffic (Morocco shut the borders while we were there!) they maintained a full staff and were able to meet every need of ours. The rooms are lovely, all facilities are clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. Definitely have dinner in the garden at least once during your stay!

We stayed at Riad Idrissy for four nights and it was the best decision of our trip. The building is beautiful. The garden is relaxing. We loved our room. But the hospitality really blew us away - the team at Riad Idrissy helped us set up a tour of Fez and a day trip to Meknes/Volubilis and was always willing to answer our questions. The food is amazing! The breakfasts are delicious and make sure you plan to eat dinner at the Ruined Garden during your stay.

We stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful Riad. Due to our booking "adventures" we were suppose to have 2 different rooms during our stay. At the end we were lucky that they allowed us to stay in the same room. We couldn't have been happier with our top floor room. The best part of this room are the windows to the terrace. We enjoyed the beautiful light and breeze and were surprises that other guests didn't come to the terrace at all. It felt like an extension of our place. We enjoyed listening to the calls for prayers. Breakfast and dinner were excellent at this Riad. All the young men working reception or dining were friendly and wonderful. I highly recommend this Riad.

What a place - we could've sat in the garden for the duration of our time in Fez, it was so peaceful. Beautiful room in a stunning riad, the perfect place to live a Moroccan dream. Staff were lovely and very helpful, Youssef in particular, who worked the evening shift was delightful and made us feel so comfortable. So glad we booked here :)
