Riad Idrissy was the perfect to start our first time in Morocco. Where do I begin? The riad helped us organize transportation from the train station when we arrived (critical for us to first find the riad), tours and outings in and around the medina as well as outside the city, and they offered comfortable rooms and an excellent restaurant....

My husband and I chose this Riad because we wanted something old and authentic. If that's what you are looking for, you can't go wrong with this Riad. It takes you back in time, allowing you to experience a 400 year old house, while also providing enough modern comfort for a pleasant stay. From the moment you enter the Riad,...

Morocco is full of beautiful riad's. This is one of them. My girlfriend and I stayed two nights in the Shoowaf room and we are already talking about a return trip to stay there again. It was spacious, huge ceilings, great view into the main hall, as well as a really nice bathroom. However, what separated Riad Idrissy for me...

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, great food and lovely ambience. Honestly you couldn't ask for a better Riad to stay at. Relaxing feel, rooms are spacey and breakfast is a real treat as is the food if you take lunch or dinner. From the time the driver picked us from the Airport to the time we left we were...

I recently stayed at the Riad with my wife and two young children. I wasn't sure how my kids (5 and 8) would take the Medina experience, to be honest. But the staff at the Riad are the warmest people ... they really made the trip special for us. We mixed the week up with some adventures around the Medina...

We stayed at the lovely, well managed Riad Idrissy with a family of four, staying in the top room with access to the roof terrace. We loved the traditional tiled central great room and lobby for all guests to relax and eat meals - and spent many a lovely evening there We found the staff all so helpful and warm...

We loved our stay here! They arranged for a driver to pick us up in Casablanca, a wonderful man who gave us a great tour of all of the sites along the way. The lobby is beautiful, our room was large and full of antiques. It is well located within the old medina. You will not be disappointed!

Highlights: stunning restored building mix of traditional and quirky decor; being able to have delicious breakfast on the "evita" balcony (loved the variety of breakfast breads); the Ruined garden atmosphere and food. Lowlights: because of the authentic restoration doors and bolts can be noisy (thankfully all guests where considerate) and our bathroom was quite dark - v atmospheric but not...

What a wonderful treat. A perfect return visit to the Riad Idrissy and super food in their restaurant, The Ruined Garden, which I combined with bread making classes run by Najia. Very hard to think of a more fun weekend. I was spoilt by charming and professional staff, fed delicious food and delighted by my teacher. Even the bread I...

I traveled solo through Morocco with Fes as my first stop. The people at Riad Idrissy were wonderful. Very attentive and hospitable. Sue and the staff catered to my needs (and spoke English, which was helpful). The Riad is beautiful. The room was comfortable, with plenty of bottled water and a hot shower. The breakfast at the lovely The Ruined...
