A handsome house in the south of the medina by the Bab Jdid R'Sif on four levels comprising five generous sized rooms, a central lounge and a rooftop terrace. Our resident assistant Hamza remained on site throughout and Fathiya during the day expertly and most modestly cared for us, the rooms and the kitchen. Despite one or two rough edges... More

This was my worst experience ever!! The owner after showing us to our room ripped out a big ball of hash and illegal drug in morocco and tried to sell us some.. Seriously no word of a lie with in 2 minutes!! I don't know much about this but he seemed to be holding a large quantity and said that... More

Nice, clean, Riad close to medina. Great breakfast and Hazm our host was especially helpful. Mint tea upon request served with pleasure. AC worked well and someone was on hand to answer any questions or give directions.

Well we absolutely lived staying at this Riad. The room was amazing, very romantic and spacious. The bed was made up every day, the towels changed in the bathroom and everything was done to make sure we were comfortable. Hamsa was so lovely with us and treated me like an older sister, joking with us but making sure we had... More

Nice atmosphere and helpful staff. The riad is close to the centre but also far enough away from the medina to be quiet at night. It's full of character, but like most riads rather dark because all the bedrooms face onto the courtyard. The bathrooms could do with a little modernisation (and for some reason toilet rolls always seem to... More

What a great place! The France/Moroccan owner is really nice! He even has red wine!!! We felt really welcome. The food is also really great and good priced. The rooms are big and in a lovely style! Only our bedroom had a smelly problem. But the tried everything to solve this.

Riad l'Artiste is on a quiet street close to the Old City Medina (about 7-10mins walk). The raid is stunning to look at, clean, and the rooms (Africaine, Laura Hind) were spacious and well presented and both had (much-needed) A/C! Hotel manager and his assistant were very friendly and went out of their way to make our visit pleasurable (i.e.... More

Close your eyes and fly away on a magic carpet to the land of the Secret Palace - Riad L'Artiste - the "Hidden Jewel" of Fez. And here, while you chill, your senses will be transported to higher levels of perception, and sensibility. And, I must add, once experienced, never forgotten. Majestically Artistic in an informal and beautiful way. And,... More
