In January of 2014 a friend and I spent two nights at Riad Norma in Fes, Morocco, the first leg of a longer journey in Morocco. We were very pleased with the accommodations: all amenities in the room, well-heated room, space heaters in the courtyard and dining room, beautiful tea service on arrival, beautiful garden, oranges picked directing from the...

This was our second trip to Riad Norma and amazingly it was even better than we remembered. The outside of the riad gives no clue to how gorgeous it is inside. When you step into the internal courtyard you are struck by how beautiful it is. Our room was huge and very comfortable. The garden is delightful and the small...

Ottima accoglienza. This riad is really comfortable and well restored .. On our arrival we were welcomed by the lovely owner, a polite and refined French lady, with a nice mint tea and cakes,. Breakfast is very good and elegantly served in a mixture of Moroccan and French style. The location in the heart of Fez Medina is very good...

It's impossible to add anything to the praises made by previous guests. I can just join those who are grateful to the charming owner Monique and her very helpful staff. I also put "excellent" for the fitness center, although there is no gym at the riad. But they have a nice swimming pool with crystal clean water. Special thanks to...

It is very rare that i find a hotel or restaurant about which I have no reservations. Riad Norma is one of those that I would recommend wholeheartedly. This riad has been exquisitely restored and is a delight to the senses. Owner/ hostess Monique fulfils her role with grace and charm, so it is more like being welcomed to a...

We arrived at this beautiful riadh at around 9.30 am in early April - which was more like a palace, having left our hotel in England at 4 am that morning. It was like stepping into a palace, and my first experience of Morocco. I couldn't believe my eyes and that this would be our home for 4 days. I...

We spent 2 nights here on a trip through Morocco. Location is really the only snag, up a steep hill and on the edge of the Medina. The Riad is beautiful inside and our room was enormous and very comfortable. Everywhere is tastefully furnished and Monique gave us a very personal welcome. The cosy sitting room with an open fire...

Our first stop in Morocco, Monique and her assistant Mustapha, who speaks excellent English, did everything to make our stay comfortable and welcoming, enhanced by the open fire in the sitting room. The beautiful building restoration speaks volumes about Monique's attention to detail and determination. Superb meals with a good variety of vegetables, we had not tasted cardoon before! Our...

For travelers who are looking at sharing a rather unique experience in a rather exceptional environment : The house has been redecorated by its current owner in its original style with her personal and tasteful touch. Suite Norma was well above our expectations. But all the other rooms which we were able to visit are most recommendable. The garden and...
