This hotel was perfectly located in ville nouvelle, and only a short taxi ride from the Medina. I found the Reception to be cordial and helpful. It is ideally located on one of the main boulevards, with restraunts and cafes close by. It was very practical, "no frills" for someone who is on a budget.

I went to hotel de la paix in the evening to see if they had a room for the next day for two nights. The receptionist told me they couldn't tell yet if they would have a room or not and that I had to come back next day at 11 AM. I asked if I could see a room...

Hotel De La Paix is located in Fez's 'New City', which is nice, and about a 10min walk from the walls of the Old City. We booked through Hotelclub.com on a fairly low rate - which was good. Overall, the hotel was ok (average rooms, not fantastic bathrooms, but good location). Probably wouldn't stay there for more than 2 nights.

Nice place right in the centre of the New Town. Basic large room with A/C and large bathroom - fantastic value for money. There was a television on the wall, but no sockets in the wall into which to plug it in! Nice breakfast with shaded terrace at the back. The owner (like everyone in Fes) strongly forces you to...

I stayed at the Hotel de la Paix for two nights and thought that it represented very good value for money (43 pounds sterling for the entire stay, including taxes and continental breakfast). The Ville Nouvelle location is excellent and it takes only a few minutes to reach the more interesting parts of town (Fes el Bali and Fes el...

I found the room to be pretty big compared to what else I had seen in Morocco, although it was uncarpeted. The bathroom was big too. The room did have a bit of an aged look though, and the warm water seemed to cut out at times, but it wasn't serious for me. The rooms also have an AC/Heater that...

I stayed at De La Paix in December, 2005. Convenient location. Close to train station. Located in the Ville Nouvelle part of Fes. About 1-1/2 mile from Fes El-Bali. Located on a very busy street with vendors, restaurants, cafes, etc. I would definitely recommend an Official Guide for the central market. Definitely try the restaurant. The food and service was...
