I stayed at Dar Roumana for 2 nights, after staying in Riads in Marrakech, the Orika Valley, Essoaira and Casablanca, and my two nights in Fes were the highlight of my journey. The rooms are stunning and spanking clean, with incredible attention to detail, the staff couldn't be more welcoming or supportive, the location is convenient, the rooftop breakfast area...

Dar Roumana is located on the border of fez old Medina. It is a converted typical Moroccan house with most the rooms having windows on the main hall and not your standard hotel. The place has been recently restored and the tiling, doors and stucco are mesmerising. The rooms themselves are huge, fitted with typical furnishing and with locally sourced...

We spent a night at Dar Roumana. The sevice was excellent and all the information Mohammed provided us about Fès was very helpful. On the next day our train was leaving very late at night, and Gail was so kind to let us stay as long as we needed, and even let us have a nap in an extra room....

Homey from all its angles. Everything about this place is beautiful, genuine, smart, comforting, convenient, and clean. The food was fantastic, everything from the breakfast at the terrace to a mini snack during a resting hot afternoon. Perfect calm location, while only a nice stroll from the busy city. Great & smooth wireless connection. Reasonably priced and impossible to disappoint....
