Riad Ghita was recommended to us by a friend. Because of the warmth and incredible experience here, we decided that riads were the ONLY way to stay in Morocco. Here's why. We came in very late at night on a delayed train, and much to our surprise one of the staff members (Idris) was still waiting for us an hour...

We arrived after a long long train journey and were made to feel instantly relaxed. Supper was prepared and we were shown our fabulous decorated rooms. As three women of three generations (daughter mother and grandmother) we felt wonderfully taken care of. Senna gave us plenty of information and safety advice and we wondered unhassled around the medina all day....

We were booked in here by a tour company as part of a private tour. We were initially lodged in a top floor unit but asked to be moved as there was a pervasive smell of sewer gas (management admitted it but said it was due to river conditions) and as the shower was too small and weirdly designed to...

The staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were great. It is in a good location: quiet and yet walking distance to many shops etc. We stayed with 4 children and the rooms were just beautiful! Very nice staff, recommended!

We enjoyed the serenity of this beautiful riad, as well as excellent breakfasts and dinners. It was also easy to find, which can be a problem in Fez! Our driver was able to wait about a hundred feet away as someone came to take our luggage in. We were grateful the AC worked well, as we had a 98 degree...

Morrocan house that was converted into a small hotel. A wonderful patio where you can have your meals, or just hang out. The room is authentically decorated and spacious, goot AC and a large bathroom. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located at Fes Medina, so you can just walk into the market.

We arrived late at night since we traveled by train from Casablanca. The manager / owner was really welcoming and friendly, we felt at home in an instant. The rest of the staff members are all very professional, too. Tired from traveling, we were offered the traditional Moroccan mint tea as a sign of hospitality. Since we arrived in the...

Situated just outside the medina but within the walls of the old city of Fes, is Riad Ghita. There are 2 buildings side by side each with beautiful courtyards in which breakfast & dinners are served. A few of us organised a cooking course through this Riad and we had a wonderful day going with a couple of the staff...

Riad Ghita is on the edge of the medina close to Bab Jdid. It is spread over two buildings, both similarly decorated and with comfortable roof terraces. It's a six or seven minute walk to the Medina. You are unlikely to receive a warmer or more genuine welcome in Fes: the staff are helpful and will do whatever you need...
