This was hands down the best place we stayed at in our 2.5 week Morocco trip. The food was also the best we had in Morocco. The riad is absolutely stunning - it has been carefully restored and extremely tastefully decorated. A dream for those interested in architecture and interior design. I liked some things so much that I asked...

When our trip to Chefchaouen was unexpectedly derailed, we ended up at Dar Seffarine. I had seen and read about Dar Seffarine on Instagram and various blogs, so was excited we were able to stay there even for just one night. Our stay exceeded all expectations! First of all, the place is just stunning. The setting felt almost like a...

My trip to Dar Seffarine happened by accident: I was in Casablanca hating my trip and longing for an authentic Moroccan experience. I was about to head back to Marrakech, where I'd been twice before, when the person at the table next to me told me about this wonderful place in Fes. That rave review was enough, but a quick...

The food, the riad, the very nice host and the view from the roof - in every aspect a wonderfull place. We've spent two nights and woud have loved to stay longer. Its located in the middle of the medina, a bit tricky to finde but just ask someone one the street if you struggle.

We are staying here for three nights. It's really hard to describe. You are staying in an 800-year-old building. Every surface has been redone with beautiful detail. Each room is unique and fascinating. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the dinner and breakfast is wonderful. It is a truly unique experience and we feel very fortunate that we found...

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Dar Seffarine. Thanks to the incredible hospitality of Alaa, the owner, we felt welcome in Fez the minute we arrived. The location is in the heart of the medina, and we loved our quiet room, the delicious breakfasts on the roof terrace and the wonderful dinners in the garden. Alaa and...

Location: Fantastic location in the heart of the medina- a blissful oasis from the busy scramble of the streets outside. Although next to the 'copper' square ('Saffarine'), there was a silence both in the green-covered dining courtyard and on the rooftop terrace above, where we sipped on local wine with one of the best viewpoints over the whole of Fes....

Step back in time and embrace the spirit of Fez. Alha and Kate have created a magical oasis in the fascinating old town of Fez. Clean, comfy, rooms; bounteous breakfasts and delicious food; and an ambiance of comfortable camaraderie. We met delightful guests from all over the world, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, thank you from your new...

From the busy streets of the Medina, enter the door to an immediate Wow factor. Absolutely stunning décor, beautiful rooms, lovely staff and owners who are happy to help and advise on trips. Very clean and great breakfast and evening meal. A busy location but very quiet at night. What more could you ask for. We will recommend and hopefully...

Our stay here was really the highlight of our trip to Morocco. It has a great location close to metal working art, markets and tanneries (but not a bad smell here!). The owners Kate and Alaa were amazing and all the staff made each day a treat. They also helped us arrange a day trip to Volubilis. The design of...
