This is the loveliest Riad in Morocco - physically beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and the owners and staff are warm and welcoming. They anticipated needs and spoiled us with attention. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Don’t leave Morocco without visiting Fes and staying here.

Beautiful oasis in Fes. Large rooms with luxurious Morocco decor. Our family had 3 rooms with lovely sitting area and warm fire. Karim the manager was so nice and attentive to our needs. Restaurant was great and wonderful local wines. Courtyard was lovely with orange trees.

We have been to Riad Laaroussa for four days with a group of friends and their kids...since the first minutes from our arrival, Fred and Cathy welcomed us warmly as well as Karim and made us feel comfortable as they helped us settle in the rooms, ordered dishes for the kids who were hungry and asked us which meals we would like to taste for dinner.... Fred has rebuilt the 300 years building with all the care and respect, trying to keep it as authentic as it was, and adding a special touch that makes it a little gem and peace of heaven well hidden in the medina. The place is 10min walk from the parking, and 1min walk from the main street of the medina, During the stay, the Riad was all ours and the whole staff was friendly and very helpful.. Our kids could play freely and safely in the andalousian garden imagining themselves in some medieval castle, and they will surely keep beautiful memories of their encounter with Fred and Cathy lovely children, The medina of Fès is magical, astonishing and full of undiscovered treasures and stories... but let me tell you that the experience at the Riad with all these wonderful people was the special ingredient that today, as we hit the road back home, leave us sweet tastes and memories that we will surely keep for years ahead

We can’t recommend this riad highly enough!! It’s absolutely gorgeous, a blend of traditional architecture with updated appliances. Everyone is so nice as well! Karim greeted us at the door and quickly felt like a friend! He helped us book a hamam experience within the riad as well as an incredible day tour with Mohammad Bousfiha. We couldn’t have seen as much as Fez as we did without this amazing tour that featured historical sights and a look into the workmanship of many of the city’s artisans. The rooftop breakfasts at the riad were absolutely delicious and the views were amazing. The riad has two cats who won’t bother you if you’re not a cat person as they stay in the outdoor courtyard, but if you are a cat person, they’re so friendly and adorable! The riad is also environmentally conscious and gives back to the community which is really special. Since there aren’t too many rooms, it truly feels like you’re in your own extravagant home with beautiful outdoor and indoor common spaces. We had such an incredible experience here and hope this spurs others to stay here as well!

I spent a marvelous three days at Laaroussa. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Every time my husband and I needed anything the staff was very accommodating. We even booked a wonderful walking tour with Mohammed Bousfiha. Overall we had a relaxing stay and I would come back in the future.
