We stayed for three nights at Riad Opale. Firstly, it is very hard to find on foot! We got the airport bus and walked which was very long and tiring. Instead I would recommend getting a taxi or pre booking a transfer to avoid this. The riad is still in the medina but a fair walk from the main square...

3 of us had gone to Marrakech for a special birthday! We booked the riad opale for 4 nights and was really looking forward to it. On our arrival we were greeted with the manager' ishmal' on his phone. We waited about 5 minutes before being shown a table whilst he took a group to another hotel. We were then...

Riad Opale is a peaceful haven on the southern edge of the Marrakech Medina. A stylish Moroccan interior, with a lovely pool and roof terrace, and walkable to the main square and souks. The staff are very friendly and helpful, anticipating guests needs where possible. We were made to feel ‘part of the family’, which was lovely. It was almost...

Easy walking distance from the Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Very friendly and helpful hotel manager, although his recommendation of the Cozy Bar was not to our taste. Nice breakfast set out at the time we requested. We liked the comfortable sofas on the roof top area to relax in the early evening.

A real suprize, it was lovely , the family were very helpful . A lovely but simple breakfast was ready each morning. Rooms were cleaned every day , ready for our return. A very central base ! I would definitely recommend this riad great value for money.

The Riad Opale is a small and traditionally styled riad close to all the markets and town centre, but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere. The pool is not suitable for swimming and when we were there in early January, the guest areas and pool...

Good place but overrated and overpriced. The adress in TripAdvisor is wrong, place is a little bit far from Jamaa al Fnaa. No credit cards: that was really annoying. Not too bad in general but it cannot be recommended as first choice in Kech.

Lovely traditional Riad. An oasis of calm in a very busy city, yet only a 15 minute walk to Jemaa El Fna and the Souks. Beautiful large traditionally furnished rooms, loads of hot water for showers, great TV, no locks on doors, but this was fine. The only people in the building were other residents. Couldn't get wi fi. There...

Stayed at the Riad Opale from September 22nd for 3 nights with three others. Very different to your average hotel but the staff were lovely and extremely helpful and gave us loads of advice on restaurants, transport etc. No locks on hotel bedrooms though which I found a little worrying but it is a small hotel and staff were on...
