If you have never been to this Riad before it is worth taking advantage of the free shuttle service if you have booked more than 4 nights I think it was. It is definitely worth paying for it if it is not free. This is because of the location where the taxi (hotel taxi or public taxi) drops you off is a 5 minute walk through a market with narrow streets. If you get the Riad taxi then a member of their staff will collect you from where the taxi drops you off.
On your return journey to the airport I would haggle a good price from the many yellow cabs there are in the area.
