The restaurant features large pillars and serves a continental breakfast every morning. On sunny days, guests can dine on the poolside terrace or order a snack from the pool bar.Wi-Fi is free in public areas and the hotel also offers private parking on site. Marrakesh-Menara Airport is just 5 km from the hotel.
Because of its location and pool/ garden area I am giving this 3 stars. The hotel itself is very drab but it is clean. It was good value fur money and as we were out all day exploring all we wanted was a place to sleep and a lovely pool to relax beside when we got back each day. There was a small bar in the reception area and the breakfast buffet was adequate and they also had a snack menu at the pool. Very close to Jemaa el-fna, about 10 min walking. And about 20 to 30 minutes to other sights.

As I give the greatest importance to cleanliness and hygiene, I can't give full marks to this structure. Towels were in tatters, bed sheets dirty and never changed during our four-night stay. Floor was never cleaned and swept. Breakfast is ok as long as you do not show up in the breakfast room after 9.00; in this case you will find only leftovers and have to wait 15 minutes to be given a cup and a saucer. The shapely lady at the reception desk is always in a bad mood and does not feel like working let alone helping guests. To avoid doing matters she pretended the computer did not work. As I needed to check out early in the morning, the night before I showed up twice at the reception to settle my bill and she was arguing heatedly with a guest. She let me wait for half an hour…

Location is great but the hotel itself is pretty bad. The rooms are not nice and the bathroom was broken. Pool is alright. Wifi is bad too Ok if you need one night before your flight but go find a nice Riad instead of this one.

I visited Hotel Chems several months ago as a female solo traveller, and I was apprehensive before I arrived as I had never been to Morocco at all. The hotel staff were very welcoming, they may have been even more welcoming if I spoke French. I didn't like my room as it was on the ground floor, and asked for it to be changed, they did this very quickly. The housekeeping staff were attentive and constantly asked me if i was okay and if i needed anything. There is security outside the hotel so they don't allow any vehicles on site- this is an added bonus. The rooms were clean and comfortable, especially the garden facing rooms. It was located in a central location, I was able to walk to town or the market for shopping to catch a tour bus. The hotel is also a bus ride from the…

We found this hotel to be a restful haven a short walk away from all the hustle and bustle of the medina. Room was basic but we spent all our time around the pretty pool when we weren't sightseeing. Great value and perfect location.

This hotel is like Fawlty Towers with only Manuels employed. And either they are arrogant or at the best...sleeping. Hotel has a great garden with a clean pool and a very good location. Rooms are run down and not like on the pictures on the internet. But..they are somehow clean. The management? Which? Where? You feel like back in Russia in the 70ties. This hotel could be pearl. Could be... Wonder who owns it. Must be someone from Cuba or North Korea. But....its cheap...and for a reason!! So now you know. Expect a 2 star and the worst. Spend a little more money and get a better hotel.

This hotel could be really good but what let it down was the miserable staff who seemed to give the impression everything you ask for was an inconvenience. Maggots were found in food, bad tummy aches, same food each evening from the buffet, WiFi is virtually non existent and not enough seating outside for the amount of people. Very poor overall. It did have parking but was limited.

We are on our last day of a 14 night break - after reading reviews on here I was actually dreading spending 2 weeks here. But I was wrong... the staff are so polite, kind and caring - they really go the extra mile - Ihsaan the young boy who works at the pool is very kind and played table tennis with my husband a few times alongside another boy called Muslim. They were both very polite. Fatima who works on the floor of the kitchen in the morning at breakfast (she wears a suit) is very kind and always goes out of her way to make sure everything is okay and says good morning. The rooms are outdated, but we didn’t mind this - we really enjoyed our stay. The pool is a nice size and you can see the koutoubia from the pool and the room we had (250) it looks nice in the evening all lit…

After reading a few negative reviews, I was a lttle nervous but our stay here was great. Of course the big advantage is the location. 5 minutes to the impressive mosque and 10 minutes to the souks and museums. We were maybe lucky at the hotel as ourc2nd floor bedroom was not ready when we arrived so we got a much pleasanter one looking out on the garden with its own terrace. Food was copious and good. Breakfast was fine unless you're a bacon and egg junkie. Staff were helpful and cheerful. We both speak fluent French, so maybe that helped. Only 2 complaints. a) The doors between room and corridor are not sound proofed so loud conversations can be heard word for word! (b) The "care centre" i.e. hair salon, massage parlour etc are frankly third world. But you get what you pay for…

Very good. Ideal for short visit, mine 4 nights. Near to the main sites, walking distance. 10 mins. From airport. Staff most helpful, arranged a full day trip to Atlas Mountains, unforgettable. Achmed our driver and guide, his own car, exclusive to me and my wife. Arranged to meet mountain guide who took us on trek for two hours, we were made to feel special. Jim. England.
