The first thing you notice is the friendliness of the staff. You are greeted at the door with a smile. And that is quickly followed by a lovely cup of mint tea. The seating area is very comfortable and inviting. Especially if you wish to settle back and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the medina. I would...

I stayed here in 2012, and again in 2016, and each night I have served in different rooms. Going as a couple, we stayed here because of their package deals into the Sahara. The first night, we got a really really cold room connected to an older building. There was no lock to the door, the mattress was laughably closer...

Beautiful decor, really friendly staff. The rooms are simple but good value for money. The terraces were a highlight as we relaxed on the sofas during the evenings if the Marrakech streets got too crazy. Would recommend to anyone, although be prepared for the possibility of big groups of students staying too, which made things a little noisier!

My girlfriend and I used riad rouge as our home base in Morocco as after our initial stay we found the staff there so friendly and helpful that we just kept coming back. We stayed 3 times in our visit and it was extremely convenient. They helped us book our trip to the Sahara and also with our transport to...

If you are looking for a cheap, centrally located hostel then this is the place for you. We reserved a private room for two and stayed here for two nights. Our room was what you expect from a hostel, small but clean. It was right next to a rooftop terrasse. The bathrooms are communal of course and were in different...

I caught the night train from Tangier to Marrakesh, arriving early morning to the Hostel Riad Marrakech Rouge. I dropped off my things and they where great about providing me with information about the area. The location is only a short walk from the main Medina Market. I also arranged my camel trek to the Sahara Desert for the night...

Rooftop terraces are fantastic spaces and location is perfect!! Staff friendly. Decent breakfast included with the price, available from 6.45-10am. Free wifi available in the main reception. We were able to book taxi's from the airport and day-trip excursions very easily through the hostel. You can pay in euros or dihrams. Decoration is fantastically moroccan, rooms were basic but clean,...

Great staff at this hostel. They were able to help us book our Sahara tour. The rooms were average given we just stayed a night. Lots of communal areas, kitchen and bathrooms. However, breakfast seemed like a bit cramped and rushed in the morning for everyone. Nonetheless good value for money.

I was recommended this hostel because of the tour. So I booked two nights, which I have really regretted. Cons: facilities are not good. The bathroom on the second floor is mostly for toilet since the sink the water doesn't go down properly. And one day somebody threw up so it was just vomit. The bathroom on the 3rd floor...
