The entrance was a little difficult to find. While using your smart phone GPS can get you near to the place, the entrances to the houses in this walled city are usually quite occluded and inconspicuous. Many local boys around the area would offer to bring you there free of charge, but end up asking for money when you arrive....

I had a great stay in May of 2014. I had arranged for taxi service with the hostel and the gentleman was waiting for me at the terminal even though my flight was slightly delayed. Check-in went smoothly and they brought out some mint tea right away. I had decided to book a private room and there was plenty of...

think this hostel is one of the best ever and will make your stay in Morocco amazing. It's gorgeous with the best common area for a hostel I've ever been in. And the staff is outstanding. They will arrange transportation from the airport and walk with you from the closest parking lot (thank you, Abdul!), help with any little question...

Bit of a bad start with a 90 minute wait at the airport for their taxi and numerous calls to Pierre to chase, but more than made up for it with spotless Riad and super friendly and helpful staff. Great that they serve alcohol to guests although food & beverage is steep and priced in Euros so might be better...

My husband and I, along with my sister and brother, spent 15 days travelling across Morocco and staying in hostels along the way. Together we voted at the end of the trip that Marrakech Rouge was not only the best hostel in Marrakech for it's price, but the best of all the hostels that we stayed at in Morocco. The...

Friendly staff with good local knowledge. Nice welcome with tea and pastries. Near to the medina. Nice hostel (when we finally got to it, see below). Great room in the different hostel. Annoyingly, private rooms at hostel Marakech Rouge are not actually at the hostel. After arriving and trying to check in, we were told that they don't actually have...

My experience in this place was terrible! The staff was rude, especially with girls! The bedroom is dirty and have a lot of cats walking and sleeping in the beds and sofas. The neighborhood is fearful. They offer free breakfast and wifi.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while now. Of course, it's easy to say the free breakfast is delightful (it is), that the common room was beautiful and alive (it's impressive and amazing looking for the price), that the WiFi is fast (the best I found in all Morocco to be honest), and the showers are hot...

This hostel is amazing for many reasons. Firstly for its size, the place is huge, many bedrooms, living rooms, smoking areas and toilets everywhere. A second good thing about the place, the location. It's exactly in the heart of the old town and very easy to get at the main market and other places. Third and best thing about this...

Pro - Friendly staff. Gave us all the info we asked for. Con - The dorms are a bit small for all the beds. Nearly no air. We were there in may and it was 40 degree in the city. They Promised us a fan but we didn't got it. So it was too hot to sleep and with the...
