The impression of Marrakech is widely divided. Someone loves it so much, talking about charming medina, kind local people, impressive market. While someone else hates it about aggressive vendors and numerous trip traps. In an exotic city like Marrakech, the difference between a memorial experience and unpleasant travel can be the riad to stay. Dar Nour El Honda is beautiful....

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are so pleased with your complimentary comments. You are correct that the riad you choose makes all the difference in the experience of Marrakech. Noureddine tries his best to help each and every guest. He was detained for a short while by the tourist police when he was with you, but they released...

The contemporary riad with real Morocco spirit, modern art and traditional design elements. We really adored the approach and appreciated our very cool host Noureddine who adviced us best places for visiting, good restraunts and the cute streets in local markets in the old Medina of Marrakesh. Maison of Photographie and Ben Youssef Medressa are nearby, wonderful Bahia Palace is...

This place is really excellent: Great location in Medina, wonderfully decorated, clean and well equipped. What really sticks out is the fantastic service of the staff, Noureddine and Sarah: We were shown around the Medina on the first evening, got explanations and directions, and they were always ready to help. The breakfast was served on the terrace and fantastic -...

My girlfriend an I stayed in Dar Nour El-Houda for 3 nights, and had no problems at all. If you want to stay inside of the medina, this place has everything you need! We were picked up at the airport, driven to Place de Moukef, and from there guided by a trolley man to our riad just 5 min away...

Once again staying in this riad was amazing. One the first day we arrived nooruddine and Sara had a great selection of breakfast ready for us, which we enjoyed immensely. We were all very hungry after the flight over. My girls enjoyed it up on the terrace as it was well heated by the afternoon sun. With it being cold...

Amazing riad in the middle of the medina! We spent 2N with Dar Nour El Houda and booked our Sahara tour from the riad. Nouredine (the host of Dar Nour El Houda) was extremely friendly and took good care of us during our stay. Breakfast include an assortment of fresh fruit, yogurt and pancakes. We stayed in the Terrace room...

Maybe you will need the help of the local people to find the place, but it really deserves. The hotel is charming and beautiful, with an excellent breakfast too. The staff is really really friendly. When I come back to the city in the future, this will be my hotel.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are really pleased you enjoyed you stay so much. The medina can be a confusing place for new visitors. We really recommend to our guests that they use the airport pick-up service. For £14 for up to 3 people this is an excellent service in a quality tourist class vehicle that brings the...

This place simply surpassed all our expectations. A very clean place which is cool and welcoming. We (couple) stayed here for 4 nights in the room right next to the stairs on the middle floor. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dar Nour El Houda is a chic and unique boutique Riad in the heart of the Madina of Marrakech. It is the former home of French contemporary artist Patrick Carpentier and is now owned by a group of British friends who fell in love with the place. The Riad is interior decorated to a high standard in cream and white. It enjoys an open courtyard with a large Olive tree and a plunge pool as well as a terrace with views to the Katoubia and the Atlas Mountains. Each of the four en-suite bedrooms have their own unique character and the entire property is decorated with Patrick's beautiful artworks. The Riad is located in the centre of the Madina, close to star attractions such as Ben Youssef Mosque and Madresa (5 mins walk), the Marrakech Museum (5 mins walk) and the Photography Museum (4 mins walk). Jemaa-El-Fna is an approximate 12-15 minute walk away and a map is provided to guide you. Taxis from the airport stop at Place Moukef (Kaat Benahid), a 4 minute walk away. Famous restaurants such as Le Fondouk, Dar Tazi and Restaurant Naima are all approximately 5 minutes walk away, but in our opinion the best meal is served within Dar Nour El Houda itself with a fantastic 3-course meal cooked by one of your hosts, Asia. Together with our Manager, Noureddine, you will be treated to attentive service where every guest is looked after with the utmost care. ... more   less
