Dear Dar Sohane, Our stay in the riad was magical, Frank and his team welcomed us *Moroccan style* that means just ask and we will provide it! The room was nice and confy, the food was delicious and the birthday organisation was brilliant. I truly recommend this beautiful riad at the heart of the medina. Thank you Frank and team...

From the very first minute I spoke to Franck the manager I knew this was the place to be in the médina of Marrakech. I d already seen the pictures of the riad and so I knew the style of the riad was very nice. Franck has been extremely professional and available throughout the whole time we were organizing the...

Centrally located in the old town. Very nice large and clean rooms, Very helpful and friendly hosts. A little hard to find for the first time. Noise from other rooms very easily heard. Breakfast not very interesting. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Dar Sohane is within a few easy minutes walk of Jamaa el Frna square and many other sites to visit. The staff was especially helpful in transfer taxis, directions to sites, laundry and travel advice. The riad is very clean, welcoming, and a quiet refuge within the hustle and bustle of Marrrakesh.

My daughter and I had a 4 day mini break at this Riad recently and it was all we had hoped for--central to everthing we wanted to see-quiet-very friendly and helpful staff-and tasteful and reaxing decor. We arrived on my daughters birthday and I had mentioned this when asking for a recommendation to a restaurant that evening and on our...

Dear Londonlady91, We thank you very much for your review on Tripadvisor. It is important to us to have your feed-back. Thank you for the very nice compliments about our staff members and their services. Staying in a riad has positive and negative points. A riad is a former family house and as such is not really constructed as a...

Possibly a 3 mins walk to the main Jemaa El Fna square. Was a little worried first night when we were dropped off down the main street and a man with a barrow took our suitcases and turned down various quiet alleyways. However, learnt that it is so safe. Alley ways really clean and ours were particularly smart. Also, almost...

This is truly a gem. This riad is close to the main square. When we arrived at the airport we had arranged transfer to the riad. Cristina picked us up at the main square and showed us our way back to the riad. When we entered the riad we were welcomed by mint tea and Moroccan pastries. And Cristina sat...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Dar Sohane is a haven of peace and tranquility in the heart of the famous 'Riad Zitoune' district; District that connects the Djemaa El Fna Square (200m from the riad) to the Bahia and Badi Palaces and the Kasbah (3 to 4 minutes walk from the riad). After crossing the front door and crossing the vaulted hall, you will discover the centerpiece of the riad; The patio, with its central fountain, which was built in Arab-Andalusian style. This patio is a well of light where the rays of the sun are reflected against the white walls and the columns in tadelakt sand color. For your stay, you have the choice between 6 rooms (4 suites and 2 rooms) of different styles. These 6 styles are all inspired by the art, culture and traditions of the country. The decoration of each room was reflected and carried out according to the theme or style of the room. Whether in the early afternoon or at the end of the day, we invite you to enjoy our beautiful terrace located on the roof of the riad. You can sunbathe, relax in the jacuzzi or relax away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina. Looking forward to welcoming you to Dar Sohane, ... more   less
