This riad is great value for money. The host Mohamed was excellent - so friendly, attentive and helpful without being pushy. He assisted with many of our questions and went out of his way. The riad is in an excellent location - only 3 or 4 minutes from the main square but down a quiet lane so there is no...

Location is excellent, 5 minutes from the main square, and the terrace is nice and sunny. Rooms in the ground floor are very dark, moist, and in winter a bit cold. Every time you want to come back, you need to knock the door. Sometimes you have to wait for a while before someone opens. The place seems that is...

Riad Hotel Espagne is great, boho-style accommodation for budget travelers and backpackers who want to be in the heart of everything. We were two minutes from the main square with its music, food and entertainment -- Perfect! The hotel is in an alley just off the souk, so easy access to everything. We felt safe the whole time. (Two female...

One minute to Jemaa el Fna. Nothing fancy but comfortable to spend the night and relax. Hosting is perfect. Everything clean, towels and sheets. It's my third time here and everytime i'll come back i'll come back here. Hassan, Mohamed, Sahid, Hamza... Thank you for everything, see you soon!

Worst experience in Marrakech. My girlfriend and I decided to spend our last three nights in a budget accommodation but our already poor expectations have been disappointed by even more unsatisfactory conditions. Unhealthy rooms, with huge humidity and cold. We get sick, with cough and sore throat and be aware not just us, by the time that we spent three...

Damn, after a very wilde ride to get into the center of Marrakech we arrived here in Riad Espagne. We had the feeling we came into a very nice and calm oasis. Said is a very nice host and made us feel very welcome. Gave us tea and advice how to get around in Morocco and Marrakech. The nice thing...

Extremely cold and humid in winter ! I've never been that cold, had to wear all of my warm clothes as soon as we were getting back to the room (my boyfriend was having fun blowing some steam from his mouth). No window (depressing) and the bathroom was a bit smelly. We didn't even try to have a shower... The...

Rooms on the ground floor are very dark - there's no windows, only the light from the open roof. Our room was a little bit moist and cold. The neighboring house is a ruin with a lot of trash (you can see that from the terrace on the roof) and we were woken up by scratching in the wall from...

Our room was about 2,5*3 m hole, it is literally smaller than an average prison cell, and it included the bathroom with toilet! Remarks: - there was freezing, no heating facility - just one thin blanket - no towels, no toilet paper - no soap - no hot water and even no water pressure at all! We could not even...

On arriving here after a long day travelling, first impressions were great given the warm welcome from the night porter and the colours and smells around reception lit by candle. The room however left us feeling severely let down - aside of the room size, the trickle of hot water from the tap, the lack of towels (which were to...
