We stayed in this Riad at the end of October and I can not imagine a better place to stay in Marrakech. The location is great, in a quiet street just 2 minutes away from the busy market, the building itself is beautiful with a charming roof terrace to chill out after coming back from the crowded streets of Marrakech....

Lovely riad in the Mouassine neighborhood of the Medina. Very close to souqs and to the Djemaa El-Fna square. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. But above all, we received a very nice and warm treatment from all the members of the staff, especially Abdel. He had a coup of mint tea with us more than once...

That's one of the best places I've ever been. Great hospitality and nice atmosphere! It's one of the best things that you can experience in Marrakesh! Definitely worth coming and having amazing hammam! I recommend to everyone who wants to feel like at home being in Morroco at the same time :)

This small riad has amazingly friendly staff. We were made to feel extremely welcome and looked after. I cannot fault the service at all. The location was about 10 minutes walk to the main square, and very near to Cafe Arabe where we spent a couple of evenings enjoying a few drinks. We took up the Morrocan cooking lesson available...

My cousins and I visited Morocco at the end of July 2014. For me, the best thing about Marrakech was the wonderful people and their amazing sense of humour. Everyone was so welcoming and eager to help our merry band of buffoons (for nothing!) and some of the characters that we met in Marrakech were simply hilarious. The Riad Princesse...

I was very lucky to find this amazing place in the heart of Medina. Great rooms in authentic moroccan style with beautiful peaces of antique furniture. Attentive staff that makes you feel very welcome. Its also very conveniently located in 5 min walk from the main square (Jemma el Fena), and still far enough for it to be quite at...

I had the pleasure of discovering this Riad in June. Set off one of the small lanes in the Medina of Marrakech, this gorgeous Riad is a peaceful slice of heaven. Run by the bubbly and charming Samira, this Riad has all the trappings to ensure you have a comfortable and restful stay, while staying true to its Moroccan heritage...

All of Samira's Riads offer top-notch Moroccan luxury close to the fun and excitement of Marrakesh I stayed in this riad over a year again and was glad to return during my recent summer trip in Morocco. During my trip 6 week trip, I came to Marrakesh twice. Both times, I stayed in one of Samira's riads. My second visit...

My wife and I stayed at the Riad Princess Du Desert for two nights in June 2014. We had a lovely time here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The manager, Mustafa, joined us for mint tea and chat on a number of occasions. On our first evening he walked with us to the Jemaa El Fna to make...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Riad Princesse du Desert Nothing is too good for her. Equidistant from the " Jemaa El Fna " and " Door Dar El Bacha " , the location of Riad Princesse du Desert is exceptional especially since it offers beautiful calm and tranquility. Nestled in the Medina, the small alley that leads to the riad is a wonder with warm colors that contrast with the blue sky and vegetation that is rare in the Medina which can give the feeling of a Provence in Marrakech. Additionally beautiful decoration, attention to detail , arches , columns and moucharabiehs , lace white stucco ceilings, zellij ( tiled ) walls and featuring an alchemy of colors and smells with refined bath products (jasmine and amber ) make this a wonderful place to be . Additionally, not forgetting comfort alongside the beauty, each of the 6 rooms feature air conditioning, soft bedding and luxury linens. Breakfast is included in the price and we offer complimentary Moroccan mint tea and coffee with homemade cookies at all times. ... more   less
