The hostel itself is very nice and well kept and the owners are sweet people. It is also cheap and well located and with a map of Marrakech it s simple to get around. it also doesn't have opening and closing hours: if you arrive late or early is not going to be a problem!! The overall environment is very... More

The place is really nice and clean. The owner is nice and helpful. But the people staying there the 2 nights I was there were disrespectful towards the people sleeping. I went to bed around midnight and there was some music and talking which was fine (not too loud) but at around 2 or 3 a lot of people came... More

Everything about this hostel is bad. Accept for its location and price. The rooms are dirty, specially the bathroom. The place has everything to be a top hostel but it seems that the owner doesn't invest a penny to do so. Don't recommend!

How wonderful! Even came back, which felt like coming home again. This hostel seems to attract exactly the right people and gives one the chance to socialize with same minded travelers, or to withdraw oneself. Compliments for the staff.

Mama Marrakech has to be one of the best places you can visit in Morocco. I loved it the first time I visited as a solo traveller, so went back again with friends and will certainly be back again and again. It has something none of the other Riads and hotels can offer, a sense of comfort and total peace.... More

Mama Marrakech is a simple but wonderful hostel with a great roof terrasse with a lot of sun and a lot of shade, many plants in pots, table, chairs, big (sleeping) sofas, a shower. Just take care, that you don't step on one of the two about 15 centimeters big turtles.... Breakfast is excellent -for a hostel: Pancake with Omelette... More

I liked this hostel. It was good value, hot showers, cheap beds and free breakfast. It can be hard to find the first time but the location is actually great. It's walking distance from djemaa el fna and close to many banks, cafes, shops and restaurants. Great staff, Afrida and Karim are friendly and helpful despite Language barriers. Most of... More

Impossible to find on your own - we went with someone who had stayed there before which helped. There isn't even a sign on the door with the name, so you have to pay a local to show you to it I guess. Breakfast was ok - msemen, fried egg and 'coffee'. We stayed in the 6 bed dorm on... More
