We booked this riad fairly cheaply, 7nights for 90£ but didn't stay here that many nights. Of the 7 nights booked, spent only 4 nights here, 2nights at arrival and 2 prior departure. In between we went to agadir (a much cooler and better place I'd say). When we returned, we found out room open without being told why but...

After reading the previous reviews I had high hopes for Riad Dar Foundouk. The hotel is clean, and well maintained, and breakfast was standard Moroccan fare, but there were a few disappointing things. -We were told that the tax listed on the booking site was incorrect, and we would be required to pay 10 times the listed price. When asked...

We stayed here two nights. When we arrived the man who manages the riad (I'm guessing he's an employee of the owner of the Riad) didn't know about our reservation. We sat in the courtyard for an hour while he called his manager and tried to ascertain whether or not we actually had paid for our rooms. That's a harmless...

I stayed here with a friend in August 2014 for 4 nights. We had booked with 'Tourcenter' after buying a Groupon voucher and our checking in process soon became very complicated. This is not a reflection on the riad but the holiday company who had failed to give us everything we needed. We arrived at the riad at 2am and...

My boyfriend and I stayed with this Riad in early 2015, landing on New Year's Eve – although we were nervous at first because we'd booked the whole holiday in a last-minute panic, our fears melted as soon as we got to Marrakech, navigated through passport control and met their lovely driver who took us straight to the Riad dar...

We stayed that the Riad in December 14. It is clean and rather lovely and the breakfast terrace is so nice in the mornings. The manager, Hassan, could not do enough for us. He was not pushy at all with the excursions and was so welcoming. His English is excellent and we would recommended this Riad just for his service...

We would recommend this Riad to people wanting a quiet relaxing holiday or break. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The roof terrace was a real bonus in the pleasant weather as we experienced. Very good simple breakfast. Easy access to the sightseeing and souks within the Medina. Good restaurants and cafés nearby. Would...

I've been there with 3 friends spending some days. I have to say it was a good choice, room, bathroom, services,clean... The only thing that they could improve is the heating, we were a bit cold. Special mention to Hassan,he was very kind and nice with us. He helped us a lot! Thanks ;)

Just came back from a family holiday in Marrakech 2 days ago. When we first got there we were a bit surprised and overwhelmed by the location as it was not what we where expecting however Noro (apologies if this is spelt wrong) tried his best to accommodate us even though he speaks very little english . The next morning...

The manager/ owner, hassan was lovely. Did everything and anything to make the visit better (the others did what they had to nothing more), he walked me and my friend to the square on the first day so we could get out bearings as marrakech is a bit of a maze and NO map is properly accurate. The language barrier...
