We read previous reviews that this place was so bad it was good! I'm up for a challenge so thought we would give it a go! Our visit was for drinks only, we were greeted by a very friendly man who showed us to the outside terrace where I promptly stood in a huge puddle where I was to sit,...

Our Riad did not serve wine so we were directed to Hotel Tazi. Sat outside on the patio & enjoyed a bottle of wine. Excellent service by friendly staff. Out he came with olives, huge strawberries & popcorn. He returned again with roses for our table. Enjoyed getting out of the hot sun for a rest. Whatever wines were leftover...

....local bunch of men playing cards without alcohol. Arrived Thursday around 8pm at the long wide hotel and ushered in by doorman, drinks only no problem. Almost clandestine but felt safe. First big quiet room to left of entrance was SD big screen with international football so fuzzy. A few groups of drinkers not into football. Next big quiet room...

Such a rip off. We went to dinner. Staff lying about the menu, non alcoholic beer. Fuzzing with the bill. Poor entertainment. Pastille was tasty. Find other places, there are several. It's well situated but extremely noisy.

We didn't stay here but stopped a couple of times for a drink. This was the only place we found near our Riad that served alcohol. No draft, small bottles only, served with free popcorn and spicy olives. I had the cheapest beer, the 'Special flag' which was fine. The waiters were attentive and smartly dressed. This rather Shabby, dimly...

As stated in previous reviews, the Grand Tazi has seen better days, It has so much potential, but is let down by a lack of investment in the basics. Toilets always seemed filthy, and we were always overcharged by 10dh per round of drinks on the prices displayed on the price list, so we gave a minimal tip (if any!)...

After 24 hours we finally found this hotel bar, one of the few places to get a beer in this part of town. It is certainly an experience! The locals add colour, the furniture and surroundings have seen better days. However, to get a holiday beer and some excellent people watching I would suggest risking it! Can't comment on hotel...

We didn't stay in the hotel, but just at in the restaurant. Spending a few days in the city we fell for the old scam of friendly local recommending and taking you to a restaurant. Yes, our fault entirely; we should have seen that one coming. Up until that point we had been intending to eat at one of the...

This hotel is disgusting, never stayed in such filthy place in all my life, dirty rooms, nowhere to hang clothes, a bath to fit a midget, insecure room door , very rude receptionist, would expect to pay about £10 if that per night, if we wanted to stay in a hovel, we would, avoid the place, don't be fooled by...

We were only visitors to hotel tazi looking for a draft beer unfortunately they did not have but nevertheless it was a haven from the chaos outside, normal to Marrakesh and makes London look like a deserted village. But wow was the hotel something out of the 60's we were waiting for Humphrey Bogart to come down the stairs ....
