After reading many reviews on various hotels in Marrakech I decided on this hotel. It completely lived up and exceeded my expectations. From the minute we arrived to the time we left the staff and hotel fulfilled our every need. We are were two femail friends travelling together and were very happy with the service we were provided. The walk...

Driving down the alleyway in the medina at 10 pm and stopping at a small door, we were unprepared for the luxury and quiet that awaited us. We had a lovely chamber et privilege on the second floor, with a living area, sleeping area and large bath. The pool was fabulous, the food top notch, and the service smiling. Do...

After reading some of the other reviews I did wonder what sort of hotel we had actually booked. Stepping into the Hotel Les Jardins de la Medina off the hot, dusty and bustling street in Marrakech you find a haven of peace and tranquility. There is a bar/restaurant set in the magnificent garden with its wonderful trees and tranquil surroundings....

When choosing our hotel for our trip to Marrakech, my best friend and I had it narrowed down to either the famous La Mamounia or Les Jardins de la Medina. We opted for the latter because we wanted a more authentic personal experience. As soon as we walked through the massive front door we knew that we had made the...

Well, it was like walking into paradise after walking through the streets to get there. The hotel is conveniently located about 15-20 minutes walking from Jemma el Fna. But walking there and back can be quite stressful for some people as cars and bikes whiz pass on the narrow and bustling streets. Once inside it feels very grand. We got...

I've stayed in countless hotels; this was certainly the nicest! The service wasn't perfect, the facilities weren't the best of the best, but such things didn't matter. The place is beautifully decorated and absolutely charming. It's an oasis of sanity and serenity away from the madness that is the medina. We were lucky: we had a free room upgrade, presumably...

This is a lovely hotel, but if you're in Marrakech a riad is probably a more interesting option. However, if a heated pool, spa, mini-bar, room service, restaurant etc is important, then this is good. We were happy overall but they kept getting our room service breakfast wrong, in spite of it being £15/person! Hence the lower rating...

We spent a fantastic 5 nights at Les Jardins de la Medina in early November. About a 15 minute walk from the square, Les Jardins has spacious rooms, helpful staff and great food. Each of the six people in our group enjoyed visits to the hotel's hammam and spa. We never wanted to leave!

after reading so many bad reviews of this riad, it was with great trepidation that we checked in. We found a hotel with great beauty and personality. The staff was always politle and helpful. Breakfast was substanial, and the one night that we ate dinner at the hotel was memorable not only for the incredible beauty of the courtyard setting,...

For the price charged, this hotel fell well below expectation. Despite having pre-arranged early breakfast on the first morning of our stay, the night manager had no knowledge of this when we arrived at midnight. We were told that early breakfast was impossible. After we persisted, he reluctantly agreed to provide a basic breakfast at 6am. He wasn't joking -...
