We spent a week in Riad Magellan having booked it due to the good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were glad we took Phillippe's advice and let hi arrange our taxi from the airport. Many places inside the Old Town are inaccessible by car. Our taxi was met at the city walls by a porter who led us through the labyrinth...

My son, my nephew and I arrived at Riad Magellan at the last minute through our local agent recommendation. We had booked Riad Neela (beware!) through booking.com and they didnt honour our booking! We were left stranded at midnight in Marrakech! Luckily Riad Magellan received us with delicious Mint Tea and a warm smile. The room was spacious, on two...

Riad Magellan was all that I could wish for. The place is magical and has a warm and welcoming feeling. The service is impeccable and its location is ideal as it is right in the centre of the medina. I will reccomend it to everyone and am looking forward to coming back another time. Thank you for everything, you made...

Close to souks and main square, at the same time tucked away in a tranquil corner. Simple and fresh breakfast, ideal to set you up for the day. We ate one evening, totally spoilt with attentive service, fire lit and tasty food. With ref to a previous feedback- one of the best showers we have experienced and no offensive sewer...

Our family has been to stay many times in the Riad Megellan over the last eight years and I feel that we can say, from repeated experience and with all honesty, that is is one of the most charming places we have been to in our frequent visits to the country. What I find most valuable about the Riad is...

Service is very good. They organise everything you need. The personnel are discreet and efficient. We reserves the entire Riad as we were there with a group of friends. Very good way of spending good times with friends as you have the place for your own. We went food shopping in the medina with one of the personnel and then...

On arrival to Marrakesh airport we were greeted by a friendly driver, who carried our luggage to the car and whisked us to the medina. A lovely local then met us at the taxi and walked us through the labyrinth of streets directly to the Riad, giving us tips and information as he wheeled our bags in his cart. Once...

The location of the riad is hidden, but perfect to explore the medina of Marraketch and to relax after the adventurous trip through the souks. Philippe and his team are very friendly and help you, if you need a tip for the dinner or the best Hamam in town.

Riad Magellan is highly recommended. We were very impressed with the map they gave us and the careful explanation of how to find our way out and home again - so reassuring to those not familiar with what can seem like a rabbit warren. Our room was great, the host Philippe spoke excellent English and his staff were friendly, informative...

Very cute place and the location couldn't really be better. I was sad not to meet Phillipe after reading so many reviews about him. If you're going to stay here you might want to bring a lock for the door. They don't have locks but if you have a suitcase lock you can secure the door. We were there in...
