A nice beautiful Riad in the heart of the Medina. A quite place, isolated from the busy narrow alleys of the Medina. Hyat, the lady in the hotel was incredibly helpful and friendly. Secured parking 10 minutes walk.

I would agree with not being put off by some of the negative reviews. This place was absolutely a gem. You are very much in the neighborhood of Assouel, deep in the medina and near to local markets (the ones where the locals actually shop at). When we arrived it was so quiet from town we had the feeling like...

After making our reservation online, we got to the hotel and were presented with a terrible looking room, nothing like what we had seen on the hotel's website, the floor was dirty, the towels and the toilet really dirty, there was no wifi connection and the decoration was horrible!! We reflected for a bit and at night decided we would...

The Meryem is a modern(ish) hotel in the modern part of Marrakech and is a 15 to 20 minutes walk from the heart of the city. Our room was cleaned daily and towels were replaced whenever they had been used. Though the room was advertised as with mini bar, this turned out to be a small fridge which was empty...

Don't be put off by a couple of negative review(s) - it's a little gem of a place if you're looking to get close to the local culture. If that sounds like what you are looking for then read on... It won't suit you if you want a little piece of England with added sunshine; for this, try looking for...

We stayed here for a 4 night stay in early November. As previous posts have mentioned the Riad is difficult to find so that is why we arranged an airport transfer with the owners. On arrival at the airport we could not find our name so had to call the hotel and they arranged for us to be picked up....

Awful little b&b stuck in a back alley of the slums of Marrakech . Owners and staff only speak French or Arabic - no English ( surprising considering they are in the tourism business ). Breakfast was laughable with awful tasteless pancakes ( like rubber ), with a miserly pot of jam and laughing cow triangles ( don't know what...

If you want awful food , damp rooms, dodgy electrics hanging off the walls , exposed electric wires and rooms that you can't lock and no safe place for valuables book this place! Absolutely the worst experience. This place is right in the middle of a really dodgy area of Marrakech. Got hassled every time that we stepped out the...

This is a very beautiful little Riad in the Medina of Marrakech. It is very much like a bed and breakfast with very beautiful Moroccan deco. We stayed 6 nights and were very happy with the service and the welcome reception. They serve good breakfasts and on our final night we opted to eat a home cooked meal that was...

First of all I would recommend to make an arrangement with the Riad to get collected from somewhere as it is pretty difficult to find. We arrived at midnight and fortunately we booked an airport transfer so we were pretty relaxed as we saw our name on a sign of a driver. As we approached the Medina it was obvious...

“Seriously read up on the location. We were disappointed with the amount of stress the Medina brings about due to very pushy Moroccan merchants and fake guides always trying to sell their service”

“We enjoyed our "Zagora" room as it was not diretly located near at the patio but in the back of the riad on the first floor and so it was very quiet at night and we enjoyed the great silence in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Medina.”
