Set way back off one of the main drags from the souk, Riad Danka ends up being a pleasant oasis of calm once you're inside. The tranquil feeling is fueled here by the excellent service from "Bouche" an amazing woman who provided excellent service and made us (I think) an amazing meal one evening, a huge lamb tajine with the... They arranged for a collection from the Airport and were met in the square to be shown to the Riad. You’ll very quickly be able to find it on your own once you have done the short walk from the square a couple of times. The Souk roads are chaotic but a gps or phone gps gives you a great... More

Owned by nicest and friendliest French couple. This place has so much character, simply amazing. Also, the design is something out of a movie, feels like home. This is the best place to stay in Marrakesh. If I come back to Morroco, I will stay here again. 5 stars!

The ryad is located at the heart of the medina, and is a beautiful haven inside away from the hustle and bustle. Beautifully decorated with a private hammam and indoor pool of you want to just chill out - or a short walk to the square through the souks. The roof top garden is also beautiful- you take breakfast there... More

I chose Ryad Chantaco for my stay because their website was easy to use for a non-French speaker/reader like myself. And the TripAdvisor reviews were great. My initial plans changed a bit, but Jean-Louis was very accommodating and flexible. He met me in the large plaza and escorted me to the Ryad. It was very easy to find from the... More

The Ryad Chantaco was for me one of the most pleasant places i stayed. It is renovated with a lot of taste and has a modern touch. The house is run by a very friendly and helpful french couple who can also advise very well in travel plans. Good was also the breakfast which can also be taken in the... More

This really should get 5 stars but my wife and I have argued long into the night about the beds. My point is that something as fundamental as the bed in a hotel should determine the overall rating. The beds are HARD, not firm, not very firm…but hard. We have a firm bed at home. And I am not one... More

We stayed with Jean Louis and Florence for 4 nights and had the most wonderful time. They are so helpful and welcoming - we were very well looked after. The ryad was beautifully kept; very quiet and peaceful and in an excellent location amongst the souks and just a short walk from the main square. It really felt like a... More

We spent four days at the Ryad and had a great time. Jean Louis and Florence were perfect hosts, they made our stay a pleasure. Breakfast and evening meals were excellent every day. A very relaxing place to stay despite it being so close to the centre of Marrakesh. We hope to saty there again soon!

We have just returned from a short trip to Marrakech. The Ryad Chantaco was excellent. It is so peaceful it is hard to believe you are right beside the souks and the Medina. The owners Jean Louis and Florence are very welcoming and helpful in every way. I recommend having dinner in their Ryad as that was definitely the best... More
