This is the best riad we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Morocco. Everything was perfect! The staff were attentive to our every need, our room/suite was very large and has a very welcoming comfortable seating area and two incredibly clean bedrooms. It was decorated very simply, but elegantly with our ceiling in a traditional moroccan engraving. The...

Look no further! This riad makes for the perfect stay. Dar Akal is a peaceful oasis amongst the buzzing streets of Marrakech. The location is perfect! It's very near a well known taxi drop off making transport easy. It's literally a 4 minute walk to the medina where all of the markets, restaurants, squares, mosques and museums are. After spending...

We were three female travelers and stayed in the suite at Dar Akal in March 2017. The entire stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend this riad. The manager met us at the taxi stand the day we arrived. He gave us maps and provided detailed instructions on how to find the riad. The suite is a beautiful room....

The Riad seems to be quite new and is perfectly maintained. Room was very charming with comfortable bed and great stylish bathroom with rainshower. WLAN is perfectly working everywhere, even on the Roof top terrace. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location is in 10 min Walking distance to the Grand Place. The Advantage is that it's more quiet with...

Dar Akal was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Tucked away off a bavk street in the medina, you get a chance to experience Marrakech away from the tourist crowds. Siad is a wonderful host and made our stay a wonderful one. We will be back!

We travelled to Marrakesh as a group of three women for a city break weekend, and on our return home we felt compelled to review Dar Akal so that the world could know how truly amazing this riad is. The level of hospitality, care and comfort could not be achieved elsewhere and this alone makes this riad the perfect riad...

This fabulous, peaceful, lovely riad is *the* place to stay in Marrakech. Said is a fantastic host who really made our stay special, the food is amazing (thank you to the ladies who prepared it!) and the room was beautiful and comfortable. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. We're looking forward to a return trip.

The Dar Akal is a delightful riad within easy walking distance of every tourist site in Marrakesh medina. It's hidden away so you do need to take a taxi from the airport and follow Said's instructions. I'd booked a taxi through booking.com and it was about £10 - arriving in Place Du Moukef just after dark was so spectacular it...
