When we arrived to the Riad and sat down in the tiled courtyard with a fountain in the middle to sip some thé à la menthe, it seemed like we've arrived to paradise. The Riad is beautiful, with high vaulted ceilings, abundant tiling and woodwork around. Our bedroom was lovely, soft cotton bedlinen, spacious tadelakt bathroom, creams and shampoos provided...

I stayed here nearly a year ago with my 20 year old daughter. We chose to split our Marrakech stay between two hotels as we weren't sure which to choose but should have stayed here the whole time. It was wonderful. From the pre booking enquiries which were dealt with quickly and efficiently, through the warm and helpful welcome when...

One of the best experiences of my life. I had the opportunity to stay at this charming Riad and to have Foozjs as my full time cooking instructor for two weeks. The cooking classes coordinated by Pierre the hotel manager were outstanding. I was first greeted by Hiyat who was charming. She welcomed me with mint tea and Moroccan cookies...

We stayed 3 nights in September 2016. And though I was at first disappointed that we were in a lower room (and so, would get less light), the decor and furnishing of the room was so rich and luxurious; and the space so comforting (the lack of light actually helped), I no longer minded. This may allay any perceived disadvantage...

Overwhelming welcoming, great customer care, excellent located and really comfortable and clean everywhere! Just don't ask for a hammam, unless you are sure it was kept properly warm, otherwise you will end up with a mediocre scrubbing experience without steams :) Hotel highly recommended!

We spent four nights at Dar Les Cigognes and found the property and the management quite good. The property is - as many people have written - charming and located just perfectly. Outside of the fray of the Medina centre, there is vehicle access and while the street outside is somewhat frenetic and without much character, in just a few...

We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class at Dar Les Cigognes. We had a fairly large group of 10 family members participating, and the staff managed to set up the experience so that each of us had a wonderful time. The market tour through the local food stalls with Pierre was very interesting and informative, as well as entertaining (he has...

Dar les cigognes is a wonderful place to stay just a bit outside the madness of the souk. We had such a warm welcome and the staff were all extraordinarily friendly and helpful (especially Hayat). We had the luck to enjoy the in house hamam and thought the breakfast was excellent. I would surely stay here again!

Dar Les Cigognes was disappointing after reading the other reviews and given that it has 4.5 stars on Trip Advisor. It wasn't the relaxing experience we were hoping for. We stayed here 5 nights and I think it would be good for only 1 or 2 nights. The good bits are: The riad and the room were stunning, very good...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with other travellers. We would have been delighted to prepare you a fire at any time. The room heating is individually controlled, and apologies for the staff not showing you how to work the remote/temperature controls. Every afternoon we set up English tea in the courtyard, and this is available...

My family booked a cooking class at Dar les Cigognes during our recent stay in Marrakech, and it was the highlight of our trip. The market tour in the mellah with Pierre was authentic, entertaining and really informative. The cooking class that followed was equally entertaining and instructive for cooks of all levels of experience. We prepared delicious eggplant, zucchini...
