Definitely a place to stay in the surroundings of Marrakech . The hotel is made with taste and feels comfortable. After a week in Morocco, I can say I had the best food in Zarraba. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He seems to be a passionate and above all, this place doesn t seem to be built up...

The place is beautiful but as one of the previous reviewers said, it is sometimes difficult to know what is going on. Being in deep countryside, ineed you have to struggle sometimes with hot water, electricity and heating. And you cannot pay with the credit cards, but it is not their fault, hardly anyone uses cards in Morocco. It is...

What a perfect place. I went for 2 weeks last year without my children and have just returned for 2 weeks with them. They had a magical time (ages, 10 and 8). The whole site is safe and the children loved exploring, riding the donkey and the pool. Service is laid back and courteous. Michel and his boys create a...

My boyfriend and I visited dar Zarraba for three nights at the end of a 10 day trip to Marrakesh. We decided to do this because it looked like a beautiful place to relax at the end of the holiday as it was away from the manicness of the centre of Marrakesh. The first 7 days were spent in Le...

Michel is a delightful and amusing host, full of good advice and a wonderful source of interesting out of the way places to visit. He and his endlessly patient and talented staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Don't just...

What an amazing place to kick off our honeymoon in Morocco!! We were picked up at the airport as promised and taken to this little oasis outside of Marrakech. It was perfectly serene. We stayed in a little bungalow away from some of the other rooms which provided us with such a quiet place to stay that we slept till...

We chose Dar Zarraba for our wedding anniversary. Michel, the owner, was helpful in offering to arrange a nice meal under a Berber tent that has been raised on the compound. After two hectic days in the city of Marrakesh, Dar Zarraba was just the oasis of tranquility we needed. We had a nice little room with a terrace next...

I arrived Marrakech over an hour late as my flight was delayed but still Ali (the manager) was waiting at the airport with a car and a huge smile. I had planned to stay only 1 night but ended up staying for 3 (and still wished it could have been more). Everything about this place is wonderful - from the...

What a wonderful find on the internet. Great value for money which was not compromised with very comfortable rooms and outstanding service from the very attentive staff. The evening meals were delicious with the staff striking up a musical band with drums etc which all added to the ambience. I would thoroughly recommend this place and it would be ideal...
