This is probably one of the best Riads in Marrakech for price, comfort and location. I have stayed here several times in the past and the standard is probably improving every time I stay here. Rooms are very pleasing, comfortable and modern with a hint of traditional decoration. Friendly staff, superb location and wonderful rooftop terrace offering a hearty traditional/French...

This place has a great location, beautiful rooms, and a great staff. As luck had it I wound up in Marrakech at the same time as a huge conference, so when I wanted to extend my stay the hotel staff found me another place nearby at a non-scalping price.

We stayed in this riad for one night only after being moved from our original riad due to a private function, and I wish we had stayed for the full 3 nights instead of moving! This was a beautiful Riad, the rooftop terrace was fantastic, clean and well set out with nice sunloungers. The room was small but very clean...

We stayed three nights in Marrakech at the hotel L'heure d'Eté. It was very nice. The hotel has a great roof terrace, nice staff (for example: Ms Sana). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was always clean and fresh. Breakfast was served on roof terrace. The hotel is located in the quiet part of the old town,...

This is our third visit to this riad. We just love it here, it's a beautiful calm oasis 4 minutes from the madness of the main square. We always take advantage of the SPA deal they do, where you get a hamam, massage and 3 course meal for a set price. Khajida and Hanane looked after us beautifully as usual...

I went to marakech for a long weekend with my sister and cousin. The hotel itself is nice and kept very clean. The staff are nice and are always happy to help. However, just as we arrived the chef had changed and the food was not great at all. In saying that, the manager happily removed 50% off of our...

We spent 3 nights here, and couldn't believe how quiet it was considering it was only a few minutes walk from the square. I booked our airport transfers through the Riad, which were possibly a little more expensive than if you just got a taxi from outside the airport, but we didn't want to take the risk as its our...

This place is different. It's not simply the manifestation of what one expects when one comes to a Riad in Marrakech ... someone has taken the time to think about designing this space to be a little different. The end result is very special indeed. Charming staff, cool public spaces with lots of candles in the evening and a very...

Spent 2 nights here with my sister for a birthday treat. Ideal for location. The guy in reception booked a fifty euro walking tour which i did not agree to. It went downhill from there. I had to compensate 'the guide" with 100 dirhams. (This is my 3rd trip to this city, i know my way around.) Also had to...

A great hotel with friendly staff, can't believe how quiet it was especially in how close to the main square it was. A lovely roof terrace in which to eat or just relax. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is in the fascinating shrine of the Medina, sheltered from too much modernity, that you will find this welcoming house that was a traditional Marrakchi family mansion until 2006It took 2.560 trips by donkey drawn carriage to bring all the new materials needed to renovate the house and make a dream come true. But all our efforts have been rewarded and l'Heure d'Eté is now a lovely ryad proud to combine the discreet comfort of stylish modernity with the best of age-old Moroccan traditions. 13 rooms and a suite are distributed on three different levels around a glass-roof patio-lounge that can be opened at will to enjoy the best of the season.L'Heure d'Eté is located in the vicinity of Jemaa el Fnaa Square (3 minute walk) and will provide you with all the expertise and comfort you need to enjoy the unforgettable beauty of the red city. ... more   less
