I spent one night here after trekking in the Atlas. All I needed was a cosy bed and warm shower. A single traveller, never being in Marrakech previously I didn't know what to expect and booked this on the reviews of others. Not to disappoint. It was clean with very helpful staff and in a great position. Only arriving early...

I travelled to Marakech last November with a group of girl-friends and stayed at this riad. This was my third time at Marrakech and the time I chose the cheapest accomodation, which turned out to be really good value for money. Very nice riad just a few steps away from Jem en Fnaa. Excellent and very kind service, comfy beds,...

We stayed for 3 nights at the end of April, and were delighted with our stay at this riad. The location Is perfect, just a couple of minutes walk from the busy main square, but in a quiet area. All the staff are so charming, friendly and helpful, we could not have asked for better service. Meals are served on...

I stayed for a single night by myself. As an American who speaks a bit of French, the staff was very accommodating in whichever language I chose to speak. The airport pickup was easy and convenient, the room was spacious enough for two, and the riad was full of color and well-maintained. I really enjoyed meeting the staff there --...

Our visit to L'Heure d'Ete was hasilty arranged when our dates changed, but you would never know it from the welcome and hospitality we received. Desk manager/conceierge Sanae was an indispensable resource, recommending a guide, restaurants and sites. The roof top lounge was a tonic at the end of hectic touring or wandering La Grand Place, with a jacuzzi and...

We recently stayed at this Riad for 5 nights. It is located literally a 3 minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa but far enough to drown out all the noise. Our room was on the ground floor. Size is average, but comfortable enough. Everything was very clean. Only drawback might be that there is no TV in the room and the...

I cannot describe how pleasant the experience was staying at this riad. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we were sad to leave. The riad is located in a prime location where the sqaure, souks and several attractions are within walking distance. We arrived to a very nice staff member, Mustapha, where he served us traditional Moroccan mint tea...

Close to Jamaa al Fna and located in a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle of busy shopping streets. Very relaxing environment. Comfortable rooms and surroundings and great food! Perfect!

Friendly and efficient staff that are able to cummunicate in English (and French of course). Reasonable price for rooms. Good standard and very clean rooms. Closer to the main square than all other Riads that we have stayed in, but still without any disturbing sounds.

We spent 3 nights in the Riad in February and enjoyed our stay. We booked a superior room and the size of the room suited our needs. The decor was what we expected based on the website photos. Our room had scented oil burning in the bathroom because the plumbing did smell slightly however when staying in a Riad in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It is in the fascinating shrine of the Medina, sheltered from too much modernity, that you will find this welcoming house that was a traditional Marrakchi family mansion until 2006It took 2.560 trips by donkey drawn carriage to bring all the new materials needed to renovate the house and make a dream come true. But all our efforts have been rewarded and l'Heure d'Eté is now a lovely ryad proud to combine the discreet comfort of stylish modernity with the best of age-old Moroccan traditions. 13 rooms and a suite are distributed on three different levels around a glass-roof patio-lounge that can be opened at will to enjoy the best of the season.L'Heure d'Eté is located in the vicinity of Jemaa el Fnaa Square (3 minute walk) and will provide you with all the expertise and comfort you need to enjoy the unforgettable beauty of the red city. ... more   less
