Close to one of the main games of the medina. Greeted with mint tea. Staff incredibly hospitable and friendly. Tucked away so it's quiet. They cooked dinner for 13 friends and didn't mind that 2 canceled last minute due to travel problems. Dinner was delicious. Wine is available, and we enjoyed drinking wine on their rooftop terrace jacuzzi. Highly recommend.

You will not find more friendly and kind hosts. I was welcomed with tea, sweets, and introduced to my room, which was both clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and served on the rooftop terrace. Here you also find sun beds, jacuzzi and lounge-area. My flight was late in the evening and I was offered not only to leave my...

We arrived at Riad Alaka around 9pm, we had an arranged driver pick us up from the airport. He led us straight to the riad (it seemed at first difficult to find but after being here for a few days, it's actually really easy to find!) The riad is located within a small market Bab Doukala. And within walking distance...

It is hard to imagine a more friendly and welcoming place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble for Aziz, who will also cook you delicious dinners which take account of personal preferences and let you watch him prepare them in his kitchen.

We were directed to this riad by another one, which was fully booked. That was a great piece of advice, as the rooms are perfect (large, with style, clean) and the service (provided by Aziz and Soufiane) outstanding. We have been in a few riads of Marrakech Tripadvisor's Top 25 but this one was even better ! All your needs...

Riad Alaka was just beautiful We arrived in Morocco at 0030am where we were met by a taxi arranged by our hosts. A quick 10 minute drive from the airport where we were greeted by Sofiane...

We spent our first four nights in Morocco at Riad Alaka in Marrakech. It is a small place with a real 'family feel' – welcoming, friendly and comfortable in a way that introduced us to the quiet charm of the country. Rooms were amply sized with good sized bathrooms. Efficient airconditioning (necessary as Marrakech is already heating up in early...

We love this place. We stayed there 5 nights and had two rooms. The riad is charming and quaint. There are just a few rooms, and we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, nice, and have plenty of room. The roof terrace and common areas are also nice. For us, the...

A very tastefully refurbished riad near Bab Doukala (200 m from the place where a taxi can drop you). You have to cross the dirtiest but very colourful souk of Marrakesh, Derb Fatimah Zohra. The staff is very friendly and helpfull but their advice and choice of restaurants is quite traditional and tedious so don't hesitate to make your own...

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was almost perfect. It's a really quiet riad close to all the fun... Breakfast was good and the rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly. When you are visiting Marrakesh i would certainly recommend you to stay here. The only improvement i can come up with is wifi reception...
